Ten seconds into the video and the question must be asked: why did nobody slap the cunt? He's a right twat.

The girl at the booth that he said had no tits was the reason he got banned not over the motor boat. She was working and he came up to her. . . I'm like 90% sure that the case will be in court soon. . . Hence why Microsoft is cutting all ties.

so what about the countless women that accuse men of being dickless or having small dicks? is that sexual harassment as well?
sure, it wasn't a smart move on his part because clearly if a guy says anything slightly derogatory towards a woman instead of it being taken as frat boy humour it's going to get you sent to court.
also curious this blows up now when, as i said, eurogamer was months ago.

It's not the sort of thing you do in public, at an expo, especially while being recorded during a hire to promote a game system

unless you're a comedian, which it seems he is. he makes funny videos for the fifa crowd. if she had filed a complaint on her own, fair enough, but it just seems really weird it would happen now that this other youtuber claimed it was sexual harassment.

if you do it at work, yes. You get fired and then the police can choose to register you as a sex offender . . . yes.
Edit in USA Canada and Britain. . . not sure the case with other countries. . I don't travel much. AOh and get your head out of the 1980's

what about stand up comedians... some of them like to pick out people and make fun of their physical appearance. for being ginger, for what they're wearing, for having massive tits, being fat...
is that harassment, should they be publicly denounced as sexual offenders as well?
edit: i was born in england in '92 and i'm a lady. my head isn't in the 1980s in any way, i just don't like hypocrisy or being told who i should and shouldn't like because it's popular. exclusion being justin bieber.

Any standup comedian who does that without first being heckled by them is a twat too. Anyone who heckles knows exactly what's coming and probably wanted it.

If you go see a comedian you give consent for them to perform their show. . . If you go to a gaming expo you are not giving people the right to make fun of you and upload it. . You are not giving consent for them to make fun of you or discriminate. You have no idea about the laws. . . you should look into them. If you really think this is ok behavior . . . you are likely to inadvertently become in big trouble one day. But when you watch a TV show or go to a movie the opinions and stuff shown are protected by rating and disclosures. . . public events are not. If you go to a gaming expo you don't give consent for some duchebag to come up and kick you in the balls, or for someone to come up and insult your race. . . or to discriminate your person in any way or form. EVERYTHING this guy did was wrong. . . despite any ignorant claims to the contrary He was permanently banned from any of these expos for that very reason.

Not so much the first girl but if someone spoke to a family member of mine like he spoke to some of the girls there, he'd have some teeth to give to the tooth fairy. Its pretty obvious that most of the people are not comfortable being spoken to like that.

he came up to the promotional booth and remarked that the promotional staff had no breasts. I saw him make a teen dressed as Link cry. . . This guy isn't funny he is harassing people. . .Some like it but when you come up to a person working and say I can't see your tits . . . you are likely to be charged.
Comment has been collapsed.
Whoever has insecurities over things they cannot control, like their breasts, are fools. I have no sympathy for them. Any girl that cannot embrace who they are as a person should be crying for a whole different reason than from the fact someone pointed the obvious about something that doesn't matter in life, like breast size. If you watched the same video, most of the people were laughing, the rest were smiling. I know it was selective clips, but I cannot imagine him getting any worse than what he did in the video and it shows who can handle the real world and who cannot. If someone cannot handle this guy when he is just using dark humor (lol, he is using dark humor), then I cannot imagine the weaklings handling the real world with REAL assholes. These people need a spine and everyone needs to stop being so sensitive and be selective with their hatred is all. Disagreeing or not finding the guy funny is one thing, being overly emotional is a whole different issue.
Comment has been collapsed.
yes but if you are working at an event for teenagers this isn't the type of activities that are allowed. It is foolish to promote this type of activity at all ages events. People under 16 are required to be with an adult. That doesn't mean that it is OK to be sexually explicit.
Over emotional doesn't come into play here. sexual harassment isn't OK at these events. It is criminal. . . and he's paying the price for it. Anyone who feels otherwise are just in the wrong. There was a panel about it. . . Three times. Once with police, once with Eurogamer's panel, and lastly with Microsoft. He wasn't at a bar or Girls gone wild.
Comment has been collapsed.
Not really my point. I never said he should do it, my issue is how serious everyone is taking this. This guy has a lot to learn, yes, but that doesn't make him a bad person like everyone here is making him out to be. Additionally, this whole topic as to what is appropriate and sexual harassment is a stupid opinion based issue, considering the way people dress and what the real line between harassment and not harassment. The thing is, some of the girls didn't find what he did as harassing, but a small few did that got him the reputation you guys want to give him. Out of all the people he talks to, just because one girl cried, he is suddenly a really bad person? Maybe out of all the people, one person was really sensitive.
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm short + male, and I am ashamed to say that I'm quite insecure concerning that. Luckily, people usually choose to ignore that, bar the remark when we first meet, or infrequent jabs. At least he said it in quite poor taste, speaking both in brief and with very little sign that he's doing it in jest. The way he said it, it sounds very much like harassment.
Anyway, I don't really care much for his sort of humor. Really good comedians can manage to make everyone look good, while all he did was put everyone else down.
Comment has been collapsed.
You know just because someone is smiling, esp. when there is a camera around, doesn't mean they aren't extremely uncomfortable at the same time. To you it's a dark sense of humor, to me it's just being trashy (that's the nicest word I could think of to use). If that's who you are, or how to choose to joke/interact with people that is your choice, but these industry events are suppose to be at least somewhat professional. Microsoft did some other company(-ies) a favor though, as if their PR rep. hadn't heard of the guy before (just like many of us haven't), they at least know what they are getting. I actually think this guy still has a future as a public figure but at least some doors in the UK will now be closed (as a US<=>Japan inbetween'er I could totally see him at some events for a network like "Spike TV" in the US... until he tells Hideo Kojima he has a pencil dick or something =p).

People who like garbage shitfaces like this guy, are the exact same people who got picked on by guys like this, so once in their life they feel like now they are the ones who are "laughing", and not the ones laughed at. Online subscriptions of shitkids shouldn't set any trend, but since it's the interwebz, it's their domain.

True, but Kassem interviews in a more appropriate area. The key issue is if the people feel comfortable. The streets of Venice Beach are much different from the Expo, so Kassem inherently interviews a group of people who wouldn't take as much offense to those types of questions. What is tasteless of KSI is that he kept pressing such questions at the promotional staff after she was obviously offended. I don't think I've seen Kassem's interviewees feel particularly umcomfortable.

how is it sexual harassment if she gave consent? has everyone actually lost their minds? did she file it before some guy criticised him over it? because eurogamer was months ago and suddenly everyone has started to kick up a fuss about it.

What you see as funny is pretty detrimental to people. . . I work with kids I know.

"chauvinistic pig" here we go... are you being serious? are you a feminist or what?
"He makes people cry" well i don't know anything about that. i've only ever heard of him, and don't think he's my cup of tea either, but i'm not going to pretend this is anything more than someone getting mad at his popularity and wanting to throw him a curve ball/ruin his youtube career entirely. all i can base my view of him on is that video in the OP, and i don't think it warrants the silly witch hunt-like mentality that's going down.
"People do cosplay and stuff to be proud of their fandom. . . and to make fun of them"... so people aren't allowed to make fun of each other anymore or what? are our egos really so big that getting them bruised every once and a while is such a cardinal sin?
"nvm you defend saying a girl has no tits to her face" ... i said it was dumb, but i wouldn't call it sexual harassment but maybe i'm just not easily offended. if it was me he said that to i would have agreed, because... it's true.
"I'm done with you. Anyone who thinks that it is ok to make fun of a woman's image to their face and then put it online can go fuck themselves." whereas it's fine to ridicule a man's image is it? he also mocked the guys in the video, you know. maybe not for a lack/abundance of tits. i guess you need to have tits to have feelings, right?
"What you see as funny is pretty detrimental to people. . . I work with kids I know."... where did i say it was funny? i said it was stupid of him, but i would have laughed it off anyway. i also love kids, and have a very strong fascination with child development, but what do i know i guess.

hmmm I see where you are coming from but seriously. If you are ignorant of the issues why pipe up. KIS's public trademark image is "the rape face". I have met this guy am rejoicing that this guy is out of future events that I'm going to. Your defending something that you've only ever heard of.
Sorry to get fired up I figured you knew what you were talking about. . . though you are fully misinformed about sexual harassment.
Comment has been collapsed.
"If you are ignorant of the issues why pipe up"... because your topic was about that video, and according to you the only reason he's being sent to court is because he told a girl she's flat. if you wanted an echo chamber you shouldn't have made a forum post, not everyone is going to agree with you and i expect most people wouldn't agree with me either.
"KIS's public trademark image is "the rape face""... i've been told on occasion that i can make a pretty rape-y face if i want to, too. should i be concerned?
"I have met this guy am rejoicing that this guy is out of future events that I'm going to." well whoopdeedoo for you, i suppose.
"Your defending something that you've only ever heard of." more like asking questions. i'm not going to hate on a guy and call him a sex offender for something someone decided was wrong months after it actually occurred. if he's actually abused someone and they come out about it themselves then that's a whole different matter. this just seems INCREDIBLY manufactured.
"though you are fully misinformed about sexual harassment." i know is that it seems to favour women. the woman doesn't even need to complain about it herself, everyone else will do it for her.

'"though you are fully misinformed about sexual harassment." i know is that it seems to [favor] women. the woman doesn't even need to complain about it herself, everyone else will do it for her.' is the reason you are misinformed. You know what you miss the point. These are all ages events. . . meaning that this type of behavior isn't condoned. Location location location kid. Yes child. . . because only I child thinks that this type of behavior is allowed to be conducted in a place where children hang out"under 16s need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian" . There is a reason why you don't see motor boating at your chuckie cheeses or what every kids under the age of 18 go. . . In a bar OK. . . in an 18+ event(or what ever your country or state says. . . fine) In an openly public place it is not fine. . . get that out of your head man. Think of it this way. . . you are a Dad and you send your kid off to an event where this guy is. . . and you see him motor-boating a person at the event that your 16 year old daughter was. . . if you don't get it now. . . you'll never get a job in PR (or keep it).
ANd the reason he was canned was because of this reason and the fact there was a complaint from the one girl. everyone focuses on the motor boating thing. . . which is just. to people over the age of I uno mature people. The issue wasn't with her it was him stating the girl had no tits. . . she never agreed to it. . . oh and there's an article about it that I posted.

"These are all ages events. . . meaning that this type of behavior isn't condoned. Location location location kid. Yes child. . . because only I child thinks that this type of behavior is allowed to be conducted in a place where children hang out"
well... first of all, while that may be true at this particular event, at games expos they also depict content that involves killing people, amongst other things. that what people deem acceptable/unacceptable for kids to witness differs and is probably going to be a really tiring thing to actually discuss here.
i'm also confused as to why you've decided i'm a child... i told you earlier i was born in '92, making me 21. maybe you're stuck in the 80s? :p
"Think of it this way. . . you are a Dad"...
well holy shit, how did that happen?
"you see him motor-boating a person at the event that your 16 year old daughter was. . . if you don't get it now. . . you'll never get a job in PR (or keep it)."
i would look at her sternly and say "if you ever do that for a camera i'll disown you". as for the PR job, no fucking thank you. no offence to the general public, but the general public is pretty stupid and herd mentality makes me want to pied piper them off a cliff. figuratively speaking. and without me falling off the cliff.

get some time on you. . . then reflect on what you've said. My god-children are getting to the age of eight. . . you think you've got the whole world in front of you . . . and you do.
After you grow up an see how you don't have it all figured out and that there are more people out there with feelings and emotions. . . then maybe we can chat about this.
I'm a proud autistic male who's been working with children with differences and different forms of trauma. . . I also do PR for video game developers, most of which are autistic. . . so I do understand why an asshole like this is bad at gaming conferences. I've met KIS before. . . he may be doing a PR role but screw the guy who let him into the building I was in.
As for you you think that the whole world is stupid and that's fine. . . but there's no need to shed a tear for this guy getting banned for doing what he did or Microsoft dropping him. He still gets hired by EA all the dammed time.
I hope you learn to like humanity a bit more. I mean no disrespect I just loath people defending KIS's actions at this and other events. . . not his Youtube channel . . .gratz on his success. . . not my thing and I hope to never meet him again.

i have no idea what you even mean by that. what?
"After you grow up an see how you don't have it all figured out and that there are more people out there with feelings and emotions"
now you just sound upset about not having a counter-argument. i never claimed to have anything "all figured out", all i said was that i don't agree with this manufactured hate campaign, and that i would not be offended if he had called me flat chested.
"As for you you think that the whole world is stupid and that's fine"
do you think otherwise? why?
"but there's no need to shed a tear for this guy getting banned for doing what he did or Microsoft dropping him."

my grandma used to say that. . .
one person is smart the more people the dumber they get.
there is no condensation meant. . . more of a way of saying I understand where you are from but you miss the reality of the situation to to not really grasping the scenario.
I was where you were 11 years ago. . . Honestly you are shooting yourself in the foot.
I'm defending someone who was harassed your attempting to justify something you have admitted you've just come across. . . or are trolling.
edit: most people who claim that "what about stand up comedians.." when talking about someone conducting an act of degrading a female in a public event. . . or saying that defending the rights of women not being turned into sexual objects as being purely feminist. . . or stating "so what about the countless women that accuse men of being dickless or having small dicks? is that sexual harassment as well?
sure, it wasn't a smart move on his part because clearly if a guy says anything slightly derogatory towards a woman instead of it being taken as frat boy humour it's going to get you sent to court." is clearly a sign of someone who doesn't understand that this world is starting to collectively agree that women are people just like black people aren't meant to be slaves.
Everybody on this planet has a right to life. . . and as such we are seeing that any form of derogatory stance is denouncing that. . . this guy is regressing all of that.
Ok fine he's a Youtuber and makes money off of that but to try and justify what he did is just wrong. People were hurt. You can say what about. . . all you want. . . but when you act thew way this guy did, in the place he did against people who didn't want to be treated that way. . . there are consequences. he has to face them.
That being said it is great you are actively taking that stance that you believe . . . I commend you on holding your ground. But sadly due to your failure to know anything of this case I feel it is my duty to inform you of the facts. Not how I feel. If you feel otherwise fine. Ignore all I say. . I'm not speaking from how I feel but rather how the world is.
Personally no one here wants to hear what I really feel. . . there are two things that we all know for sure. . . how it is and how we fell it should be. . . I mostly ignore the how I feel t should be . . . because it ain't. . . If I feel how I think it should be should be. . . I try to make it happen.

huh?
"there is no condensation meant. . . more of a way of saying I understand where you are from but you miss the reality of the situation to to not really grasping the scenario."
no i understand fully. if what you said is true, he hurt her feelings, whether it was intentional or not. i actually rewatched the video, and after pointing out she has small breasts he asks her out on a date... whether he was serious or not, i don't know, but surely it sounds more like he found her attractive than he was actually trying to insult her.
"I was where you were 11 years ago. . . Honestly you are shooting yourself in the foot."
i have no idea what you mean by this, either. so what does that make you, 32? do i have to be the same age as you for you to find what i say validated? seems a little... arbitrary. shooting myself in the foot? what.
"your attempting to justify something you have admitted you've just come across. . . or are trolling."
i'm attempting to justify it? no... i've been saying that the sudden attention this has gotten makes this hate campaign feel manufactured, which it most likely is... and no, i'm not trolling, but i'm clearly wasting my time going round in circles with you and getting lost in whatever it is you're trying to tell me here.

that edit was almost pure word salad. i don't even know what to say. i'm not even saying that to be mean, but if you want to have a debate about something you have to construct your thoughts in a way that other people will understand as well.
as for the bits i DID understand...
i ASKED someone if they were a feminist because they used the term "chauvinistic pig", which is something that i only hear used by feminists and people who are making fun of feminists. i was not claiming that people who found what KSI said was offensive were exclusively feminists, you have made that up entirely.
"sadly due to your failure to know anything of this case I feel it is my duty to inform you of the facts"
only that isn't true, i read about this on neogaf hours before you made this thread on steamgifts. no where did i read that the sexual harassment claim was due to the "where have your tits gone" comment but here, though, i'll give you that. to outright say i know nothing is just outright silliness.

Spot the misogynist! Sexual harassment is never funny in real life. Especially not if you're a representing a big international cooperation. Then again, I've been told that you are (if anything) a massive troll, so there's that.

Seeing how quick you are to label people on internet as misogynists based on one post, i would say you're not really familliar with that word or just have a really loose definition of it.
Also who gets to dictate what is funny and what is not, on internet and/or in real life? Your or mine sense of humor and how we perceive it is purely subjective, so it is not my business to act as some sort of humor police to others
Comment has been collapsed.
You misunderstand, I meant KSI. However, you're defending him and "this stuff".
Who get's to dictate what's funny and what isn't, you ask? Obviously, humor is objective. But some issues, like sexual harassment is a serious problem in real life. On film (or any other media) please laugh your heart out. But when you (maybe not YOU, but people) point at a real life situations (such as) sexual harassment and laugh then that it just distasteful. Just like it's distasteful to laugh when someone gets beaten, bullied or otherwise mistreated in real life.
Note again - I strictly mean real life situations.

Ah sorry, i thought you meant me. I'm not defending him at all and i couldn't care less about this. It does not affect my life in any way whatsoever so only thing i could do is...to pretend i care, i guess? But i don't have any reason to do that.
If anything, i'm just confused by reactions of people who tend to get really emotional about these events regardless of the fact there's not much they can relate to there (unless you count keeping up with their shallow social media appearances)

I couldn't bare to watch too far in, but it seemed they were trying to laugh it off despite how dumb he was being. I'm pretty sure after the initial jabs, if there wasn't a camera there, they'd tell him to fuck off. He'd probably get a slap upside the head if they weren't being filmed, but because they were, they grit their teeth.
People have this weird double-pronged shitty tactic, where if you try to laugh along with them, they spit in your face, but if you tell them to fuck off, they make a point of doing their best to make you look like an unreasonable asshole/laughing stock. For instance, if they simply told him to fuck off, you can bet he would take that recorded clip and run for a mile of character assassination/mocking with it. If they slapped him or alerted security, he'd do the same thing, but in a different flavour. Then of course, following this, you'd get a thousand little "me too" dudes in the youtube comments immediately making the subject about feminism. Confirmation bias (or just 'troll culture') is one hell of a thing.
