they can. if you say that you had suspicious access to your account, they shows some letters of the email that redeemed a link or a group of links. but you can't figure out what email is if you don't know any letter from the email address.

Ah, alright. Well my account is fine, I'm just wondering why the winner of the GA including that link doesn't mark the game as received, and since it's the first time I ever send a HB gift link I thought it could have something to do with that.

after a few days in this situation, I recommend you to oppen a support ticket and shows enough proof that the link is yours and you did provide that link to the winner. everything will be fine. :)

I was talking about SG's support ticket by the way. xD
The proof is a simple screenshot of your hb account showing the link when you are logged in, for example.
Trust me, SG's support really can handle this situation. They will tell you what proof they need if you need them. :D
