I'm a puzzle game fan and I know dozens of good puzzle games, but I don't really play puzzle games "similar to this". The only thing that comes to my mind is an already mentioned series Hexcells

Ok, now I feel like writing a list of puzzle games I loved... But I will control myself and try to keep to things which might maybe be "classic logic puzzles":

1. The Witness (hm, some "classic" puzzles, but also lots of other FANTASTIC puzzle-like stuff which I would not call "classic")
2. The Talos Principle (3D puzzles, though, not quite the "pen-and-paper" feel).
3. Mini Metro (it totally looks like a puzzle game, it has a super elegant 2D feel... but it is quite a bit real-time... a RTP, if you will)
4. Hexcells Plus (ok, a very classic number puzzle for you!)
5. Puzzle Dimension (a bit underrated, but a very good brain workout... a bit 3D, though, not sure if this is what you want).

Now, I really wanted to include there World of Goo, The Swapper, The Sexy Brutale... but I guess you were not asking for these kinds of puzzle games, so, ok, I will not even mention them.

I highly recommend Draw Puzzle.

Or maybe just a classic Sudoku. This is just an example, there are a lot of Sudoku Games on steam.

Hook is also a great Puzzle game with a lot of positive reviews.

A bit expensive, but worth it, is Linelight

Don't know how no one mentioned this yet but The Room is pretty fantastic. Really, really good. I haven't played the sequel but I suspect it's just as good. It's my favorite "true" puzzle game (where all you do is solve puzzles), unlike for example Portal where there's a lot going on. There's an amazing atmosphere, an engaging story, super interesting puzzles and just the right amount of difficulty.
