Problems with last won game?

That sounds kinda strange.

When you go into your account there you can find a link that shows your License and Key activations.
Is that game listed there?

I can't see your account either, your recent plays are private.

I kinda doubt it's a beta or demo key but for those you can install the game but get no cards and no +1.
The steam store should you then give the option to buy the game for yourself.

You will get trouble if you mark it as received and it is indeed not in your account. You can take the received back for that game - then you won't get trouble with SG but you should tell the creator of the giveaway, not they see in you in a wrong light.
Then figure out what is wrong.

Curious. When I run an SGTools check for non-activated wins your profile comes up clean as a whistle. Intrestingly Ancestors is also not listed under Games that are well-known false positives.
Yet when I search for it in your Steam Library the game doesn't show up.

No idea what exactly is happening there but since SGTools check comes up clean you won't get in trouble here on SteamGifts 😉

Edit: Still probably best to look into it further because in the unlikely event somebody checks your profile manually (which I strongly doubt with 224 wins) they could get the incorrect impression you have an unactivated win.

It sounds more like you have the Ancestors Legacy Free Peasant Edition. The main issue with that is I'm pretty certain it's only available via Steam, meaning there shouldn't be keys floating around for it. I wouldn't expect it to prevent you from buying the game either.

What did the game activate as for you? If you go to "Account details" from the drop down by your username in the top right of the app, then "View licenses and product key activations", you should be able to see what it activated as, and whether it's "Retail", "Complimentary", Steam Store", etc.

Not sure if same problem but Steam has been having a problem with activated keys that often does not show any trading card left to drop. There are 2 solutions, activate a 2nd key (that not a lot can do) that will make the game show cards left, or waiting, as after 1 day or so it shows the game cards left (maybe restarting the PC could work, as i think it happened once).
I let Steam know and they told me they already know it (and didn't want my help xD ).

If you want to try with another key maybe you could try to play the Indiegala Gameplay Giveaway (if you are registered there) as is not too hard to get 1 key (sometimes you can get a duplicate or an already owned key :/ ).

As i said, not sure if the same, but if, like me, it is the trading cards thing, waiting a bit usually fixes it itself.

I experienced the very same issue thrice in recent months. The games were in the library, could be installed. But they also remained on the wishlist, didn't provide trading cards and didn't show up if some service (like https://www.lorenzostanco.com/lab/steam/ ) requested the owned games list via Steam's API.

The good news: It always fixed itself within a week.

And don't bother contacting Steam support about it. They are absolutely clueless.

steamdb shows that you have the game on your account.
Install their extension to be able to see the package number, it can be found opposite the name of the game on the licenses page and send it here.

Do you have any idea from creator where he took key? Ancestors legacy had giveaway of keys on some russia sites and some developers put restrictions on their codes, inactivated cards is one of these possible restrictions, so that is why I have such idea. These keys is easy to get on shady sites where people sell them as real games, even when it may be a bit limited.
Just saying, I saw on my own just time limited keys that were removed from account after some set time, once I bought key with deactivated cards (Guacamolle Championship edition) and some games come with word "trial" (we all love generated keys from Tumblestone).
