Avalanche? So, this will be another Just Cause clone with a Mad Max skin but not the Mad Max characters, plus the usual long-winded flat plot that just drags along in a "mission-to-mission until we run out of GTA missions to copy" manner?
Then again, I guess anyone could make a better open-world fuckaroundery game than id, so this is ought to be a step up…

took me 43 hours to finish it on Ultra Nightmare and collect 100% items everywhere. Ah, and i spent 10-15 hours in multiplayer ^^

I played it on Xbox 360 and i remember how impressive the world and graphs were. Im excited about it, i hope they put more effort on story

also not much a fan of this studio, particularly with padding, and bad writing.
Bethesda still has a good track record, so hopefully this will be better than its predecessor, but i'm not exactly hyped for it

True, they are not UbiSoft yet. And Bethesda as a publisher at least only does terrible marketing stunts, but they don't seem to be infesting the studios like… well, any other Western AAA publisher.

Oh, personally I consider them the second biggest collection of fucking remorseless unethical assholes after Activision-Blizzard (nothing can top that company), only beating Konami because that is not a video game company any more, but they can make the right decisions in some aspects. Like not turning every franchise into a "live service".
Plus even I have to admit: my favourite 2016 game was Doom 4 (the first real FPS with an actual budget in like 5 years), even beating Tyranny, and my favourite 2017 release was Prey, both published by them.

It's usually more of a time constraint thing. If a Publisher has too much to announce during a show, they will slowly reveal titles leading up to E3, then maybe throw in a teaser/gameplay trailer during the press conference instead of having a guy come out and talk about it for 5 minutes.

Rage 1 was a very mediocre game. Hopefully the sequel takes far more from the successful Doom reboot than it does its direct predecessor OH WAIT it's Avalanche not id so who the fuck knows how it will actually turn out.
I do wonder if Bethsoft is going to pull its old tricks and be an utter and complete ass in order to buy out the developer at an artificially deflated price, like they did with Arkane and tried to do with Human Head.

A sequel to a game that was pretty meh overall should really have a trailer that actually shows gameplay, and how it's improved to not just be a one play MMO feeling game IMO at least.

Walmart Canada put some games up for pre-order, although the listings have disappeared, someone on Twitter managed to save what was on offer before the purge.

Several of the games that were listed have been revealed already, such as The Division 2, Beyond God and Evil 2, and The Last of Us 2, while other titles mentioned, like Borderlands 3 and a new Assassin's Creed, aren't really surprises.
However, there are some sequels mentioned in the page that should turn some heads: Splinter Cell, Gears of War 5, Just Cause 4, Rage 2, and Forza Horizons 5.
A new Splinter Cell game being announced by Ubisoft this year is not unlikely, considering Sam Fisher (voiced by Michael Ironside) even visited Bolivia recently in Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
A Gears of War sequel announcement by Microsoft is equally probable.

Got the first one for free on launch day from a now defunct program that Bethesda offered to retail employees (Bethesda Insiders) and I hardly touched it. It didn't help that they gave us Skyrim for free one month later. Still that was a whole month and I show 77 minutes of total playtime.
Can't remember what turned me off or why I never really gave it a chance. I do remember it got bashed by a lot of reviewers and I hope that I didn't let that sway me from forming my own opinion.

YEAH! Bethesday has officially confirmed Rage 2 today!
I don't know about anyone else, but I LOVED Rage and I have been wanting that sequel that was supposedly canceled.
Oh I am SO going to have to get this one on release day. Somehow.
