Well I like Fanatical's version of the Valentine thing a lot more than Humble's, that for sure. Lots of ebi VNs I don't have yet and a couple of other wishlisted things so I'm sure I can find 5 games I want in there, maybe even 7.

A little bit of projection from me, but isn't it kinda weird business decision to try to sell romance on Valentine's Day to a bunch of people (gamers) that are known to not get any romance and hate Valentine's Day for that reason, and want to actively avoid it? It's like if you went to a doctor with an open wound, asking for something to take your mind off the pain, and he would rub salt into it and start poking it with a dirty stick just to make you feel it more. And on the other side, people who get romance do not need romantic games...
Humble did a much better job handling Valentine's Day.

I mean, that's one of the reasons why people play dating sims/romance visual novels. I think it fits the valentines day theme pretty well. Humble's version is mostly horror games lol, they could've ran it as a halloween bundle and it would work.

There are plenty of gamers who are in relationships, and also plenty of people who are in a relationship but are still interested in romance games. I'm currently single and couldn't care less about Valentine's yet I'd still buy these even if I was with someone. They're just videogames and obviously they're selling, it's not the first time they do such a bundle.
Meanwhile Humble just put out a bundle of horror games. OK next time do racing games or strategy games? Or maybe fighting games since at least it's something couples do now and then :x

An American college friend used to say "Happy Hallmark Day." At the end of the day, it's just a commercial holiday for selling cards and gifts. A couple in a relationship shouldn't need a commercial holiday to do things together, but at the same time, it's nice to acknowledge. But if you're single, it really shouldn't bother you, like at all. You do not have to participate in any way. Just another day.

This is true and false at the same time, depending on the person. Yeah it's a commercial holiday, but if one partner clearly wants something for Vday, just get it for them lol. Some people use the commercial holiday excuse as a copout so they don't have to do anything for their partner. It's kinda sad. If both people don't care for Vday then I get not participating though.

Yeah, but the person I was talking to isn't in a relationship. He's annoyed that there's a Valentine's game bundle. Trying to show how mundane it all is. The bundle is just more commercialism and probably aimed more at single people than people in relationships anyway. Like, obviously when you're in a relationship, you acknowledge the day, but if you're single, it really shouldn't be a big deal. It's still just another day.

Every single game in here at 90% off will be cheaper than the max discount of the bundle(this is of course assuming they will eventually go 90%). These bundles used to have some games that were a deal even comparing to steam discounts. Skip from me, a few interesting ones but in no rush to get them.

I find the anime style games tend to never get to 90% discount, usually 75% or less. I think most of the games that get into these bundles are not bad for pricing
