I agree with the idea of being respectful and saying thank you when you win, I do it all the time. I also play the games I've won, with more or less delay but I play them.
Even though I respect what you're trying to do, I refuse to be forced to give, it should remain a pleasure and there are times when I give and others when I simply can't for lots of different reasons.
Plus, I'm not sure that creating closed groups will help steamgift's future. I may be wrong, but personally every private group I see being created makes me think that steamgift will have fewer and fewer participants (even if it's just an impression, because I don't see the activity of such groups, like a newcomer wouldn't see it)
It's the first time I've said this I think, it's nothing against you gus and it's in no way a reproach, in just one year you've become a pillar of the site and you're clearly one of those who keep steamgift going. Thank you for that.

No problem. You know I'm a staunch defender of public events, but I can't go around blacklisting 10 or 15 people for every event I do. In the group, there's no obligation, except if you're very lucky, which should be more routine than an obligation. I hope you reconsider. You know I really appreciate you. I love your regular threads, and I'm sure you'd have a great time here. Ultimately, it's just an extension of what I've been doing publicly.

One of the rules stipulates a giveaway after 3 wins, which can happen quite quickly in a small group I think. As far as I'm concerned, even if it's pretty light (no price restrictions or metacritic) it's an obligation and not just a routine.

in the 3rd rule i understand that for every 3 full cv games you win you have to give 1 full cv game back. i dont understand after the "although" what exactly do you mean, if it is exclusive but bundled(not full cv) still counts as a win?

That part confused me as well. I think he means that if you've already done full value exclusive GAs when you were not obligated to, you get credit for them and won't have to make a new exclusive GA if you win 3 games. Probably can be phrased more clearly.

Today I'm launching this group. You've asked me for something like this on several occasions. It was created with the intention of creating a strong community of SG users.
Are you tired of running giveaways and not getting any thanks if they win?
Would you like to be sure that the people who are going to win are people who are going to play or really want it?
Are you tired of seeing the same giveaways over and over again?
Do you want to have more chances to win by participating against fewer users?
If you have one or more yeses to these questions, this is the group for you.
To enter, you must be level +3 and have a ratio, that is, real CV divided by real RV, greater than 0.35. (Periodic checks will be carried out so that we are all within that minimum ratio.).
