interpreting brain functions read via electrodes is being reserched for at least X-teen years already.

all this experiment did was combining these two factors and synchronizing them via internet connection. On a vary basic level. It's quite interesting, but I wouldn't call it groundbreaking.

I'm just waiting for the day this technology allows me to punch people in the face over the internet (with their own first, nonetheless). This technology is long overdue, should be mandatory in some multiplayer games. :P
