Simple answer: Bioshock...

The first or all of them?

The first, of course. The second is just a blatant rehash of the first game, with an AWFUL premise (what kind of fucktard thought it was cool to play as a big daddy?), made only to capitalize on Bioshock's success, by appealing to its more...mentally inferior fans who never understood what that game was truly about and how perfectly perfect it was all on its own, needing no sequel.

Bioshock Infinite is a very good game which proved that Bioshock needed no direct sequel, with very interesting characters and story and nice vanilla game-play that we came to expect from the Bioshock series, but it still doesn't hold a candle to the original and all its glorious insanity. It was like Alice in Wonderland underwater.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Why? I mean, i enjoyed it enough that I might replay it some day. It was original and well done, but not even close to my top 10. I am curious to know your answer. :)

To be fair, let me say right off the bat that my Steam library is not very large. Also add the fact that my laptop's specs are not the best and so many of the games I own I also have not played yet.

Having said all of that, I still think that of the games I've played on Steam, Bastion is my favourite because its narrative was captivating to me and its world was beautiful. I fell in love with its characters and its...method of exploration, I guess? I thought it was really cool how the world appeared right at my feet as I explored stages. It was a different kind of post-apocalyptic world than you usually see (colourful and flourishing versus dark and decrepit), which was a nice chance of pace. Plus that soundtrack is fantastic.

Of course, that's just me. I have one friend who loves it as much as I do, another friend who played ten minutes of it and hasn't played it since (she loves Transistor though), and one who seems to like it, but he's currently in the middle of playing it through, so I'm waiting until he's done to hear his thoughts on it.

Interesting, thank you for this detailed reply. I can't argue against anything you said in your second paragraph, it perfectly makes sense. That would actually be a nice review for Bastion Steam store.

It depends a lot on my mood, I guess I keep all kinds of games for diffrent moods. But then again, why would I tell anyone what's my favorite game? You're not from the NSA, are you? ;-)
