nope, he/she wouldn't get into trouble.
it is their own profile and they can do what they want with it (minus insults maybe) but if someone has a fear of spiders, then sadly they have to deal with it, as the person who has the profile icon (with the spider icon) doesn't know this person nor do they know what everyone's fear is/was.

and its coming up to summer time aswell.... all the hand-sized huntsman spiders are gonna be coming out of the woodworks soon ^^, personally i can't wait

You know what'd be worse is creating an avatar, and then overlaying a transparent .png of a file that looks like you have dirt on your screen. That'd be horrible.

I would like to keep my question mark avatar, but put a spider on it, so some people might notice it and look twice and laugh. :P. I think that this would make a great avatar, but would I get in trouble for it? I have never seen it here, but I have seen it on youtube.
