It's for 16:10 very good, the picture is awesome, but my profile will cover it, maybe it will look good, but I can't test it. Maybe you can use that script for a browser that allows you to edit everything you like in any page, and put the image if possible, on that site http://www.cyberdaemon.org/backgroundViewer.php I don't know if is possible.

Actually, I compared that image to my profile, and the edges of the middle "profile" area line up with where the edges of that planet/moon touch the top of the screen, so your profile will look a bit like [ (|~~~|) ]
I don't think it would actually look so bad, compared to some with a more important part of the image in the center, like characters and such.
