Big Boss is my fave in mainline games, but mechanically I prefer Raiden in Metal Gear Rising.

Mechanically, I'd say Venom Snake. The most fun to play is Raiden in Rising. The best character is Big Boss to me.

You're right about that. The parry in Revengeance is amazing. I have to admit, I didn't know about that during my first playthourgh >.<
Yeah, I'm one of those people :D
But I learned a lot while replaying it, and it was like a different game. Very in-depth fighting mechanics. Why I like MGSV more, is just because I prefer stealth games over action. But I would say both are some of the best in their repsective genres.

It took me till the fight against jetstream Sam to learn the parry properly..
From the small bit I played, mgsV is a bit too lenient on what is considered stealth. My friends say it's great anyway, just don't have time to spend a week at their house on their ps4 unfortunately.

I just got a mental image of a sitcom with Snake & Otocon as two bachelors who decided to get a farm together and who are trying to work out how basic household stuff work, like cooking and washing their clothes.

"Trying" is the crucial word here, seeing as for the most part a little girl did all the work around The Nomad (an aircraft that served Otacon, Snake and Sunny as an HQ and also sorta a home) xD
