I have never played any card games before, neither on pc or real card games. Because I have never been interested in them, but after watching some videos about Scrolls, I kinda want to give it a try.

So I am wondering if Scrolls is a good game to start with? Is it easy to learn for someone that never have played any card games before?

It's basically Magic: the Gathering play either of those, if you don't like card games, you wont like either

I don't know if I like them or not, since I never have tried any.

You said you weren't interested in card games, therefore I would assume you wouldn't like them.

If I weren't interested, I would not want to try them, would I? What I am trying to say in the op is that in the past I had no interest in card games, but after watching videos about Scrolls, I have become interested in trying them.

Its easy to learn, but damn hard to master.

Also is true I am not very good at this games, but I think (remember is still in BETA) some balance issues, but it is a fun game honestly I do play it very frecuently :)

I have seen that you can purchase stuff with both real money and ingame currency. Do I need to use real money to have a chance in the game? Or what about the ingame currency, does it take ages to get enough to buy something decent?

I recently purchased the game, and as someone who has hardly played card games before, still found it easy to learn. It is very enjoyable, and the grid system adds some strategy that I don't think is there in some other games. There is quite a range of players from amazingly good considering how long the game has been out, to terribly bad. If you put a bit of effort in, I'm sure you could learn and become average or better.

That said, as someone already stated, if you don't like card games, you won't like this game. On top of that, there is another major point that needs addressing as a massive double edged sword. The game currently has very few cards. This is a plus that it is easier to learn, and become familiar with all of the strategies that currently exist to become good, but also bad in that the decks are less customizable than many people want right now, and you will quickly have seen all the cards there are to see. They plan on adding another faction soon, and from what I've heard plan to add cards on a regular basis.

I'd say buy it if your still interested in a couple days, but once again, only if the genre appeals to you.

Card Games seens interesting to me, but i would rater play with real cards and with friends. But as making a decent deck is hard and cost a lot, we dont care about it and keep to the classics: Poker, baby, poker.
