Disco Elysium new historical low for $12.59 at a discount -69%

Good deal but when i add to cart price goes up to 48.58 even though i already own control from humble. It tells me 12.59 like the screenshot then i add it and it goes up, what gives? Already restarted steam

Same thing. I'm assuming it's because the one we got from Humble is not actually Control: Ultimate Edition. It's the standard edition renamed for some stupid reason.

Fair enough... but i do not see an ability to buy the dlc? Does that mean that the only way to upgrade from humble standard to ultimate is by rebuying steam control all together?

Yep. That was the "scheme" all along with Humble bundle and 505 Games.
They went EGS Exclusive to release their game way later on Steam with only the base game with "no way to upgrade it" until they were exposed that they can actually upgrade but simply wont.

So you own the base game with no way to upgrade unless... you buy control Ultimate edition for the full sale price since there is no upgrade path. You can Thank 505 Games for that.

You have to delete Control out of your Library in order to buy ultimate edition.
There is no other way.

No upgrade path - not being able to buy the pack because of "Base game ownage".
If you want ultimate - delete the game from your library and buy it again - like everyone else who wants / wanted it sadly.

It's not the real ultimate version unfortunately. Buying the season pass gives you the DLC on an older and buggier version of the game. Control Ultimate is a newer version of the game that they patched out more of the bugs. It's dumb that they never gave both the same version. So if people want this discount, or if they want the best version available they have to rebuy the game

Oh thats something I do not know to be honest - because Steam doesn't give you the Season pass. If Humble is selling it - I dont know if game + season pass does count as "ultimate Edition" or if something is missing to be fully "ultimate".

Wow so buying the season pass ontop of the base game doesn't give you ultimate status.
So my previous response still stands:

Delete the Game from your library and buy the ultimate edition. That sucks :/ Sorry for everyone who's experiencing this

Not for me. The bundle page shows me 12.59, but in the cart it's 48.58, checkout even warns me I already own Control UE.
Looks like Steam is not quite sure whether I own Control UE or not. :D

I do, that's why it initially shows me the discounted price. But I got both the base game and DLC separately from Humble, so I probably don't have the right Steam sub/package to trigger the discount in the cart.

It should depend on having the right content. As written a few posts above, the Humble one gets different game files. (In Steam terms: depots)
[At least I think these would affect it.]

Why spodamayn can seemingly get the discount though, no idea. Would have guessed they also have the proper game redeemed, but since they say it's just DLC from HB..
