On the other hand, I moved to a different city a few years ago. Sometimes I still feel sad when I think my past friends, but they are still there, also I have (not) new friends here so it's alright!

As you get older, it gets a lot harder to make new friends. Especially if you move to a setting where you don't even have the old ones to bridge the gap. Starting over can be very refreshing, but its also a pretty lonely experience.
