it's better known as Yesterday
You are right, this game was called "New York Crimes" when it was released in Spain but the international name is Yesterday:

It happened something similar with this one:

International: The Next BIG Thing
Spain: Hollywood Monsters 2

Oh true, I found out about The Next BIG Thing being sort of a reboot to Hollywood Monsters only much later. It seems the developers didn't want to make a faithful remake or a full fledged sequel but take some of the original Hollywood Monsters concept and develop them differently, but since many Spanish players had been asking for a new Hollywood Monsters game for years they chose that name for the Spanish market, probably to attract more customers.

100% off on FX Interactive site, but the game is only playable on one of these two languages from there. Also, it's better known as Yesterday (didn't know it was called differently by this publisher until now).
