Aside from being part of the ever famous CS franchise, what makes it unique compared to the hundreds of other FPS games out there?

Well, it's incredibly basic but still quite fun. My relationship with CS games has always been a love-hate thing. Oh and of course it's the pioneer of the gametype ^^
