If it was an American license, pretty sure they would have had some woke shit in the game and Link/Zelda would be the same person but depends on which mental illness he/she/they wakes up to and decide to be a girl or a boy...(or a else...)

I only ever had a snes for a time (been on pc only ever since) and for some reason no one brought zelda to my city, so for a long time it was something i heard about...

...and i tought link was zelda and that people played as zelda. I recall seeing some magazine cover once, clearly a elven boy and tought if they have changed things in a sequel. Heck for a brief momment as i clicked on the thread it got me before 'wait a moment...'
