Final fantasy VII on steam.

Hey guys, Counter Strike 1.6 just release on steam

it is my understanding that the only Final Fantasy games they would be porting were the ones they had already had pc ports for(i.e. 7 and 8), but with squenix it is hard to guess what they'll do sometimes

The only problem I have with it, is that I cant use Mouse Button 1 or 2 in the key bindings. Its not a game breaker but it would be nice.

they will add ff8 for sure if 7 will have a good sales

$12 for a digital copy of a 15 year old game. Nice.
Must be because they shoveled on some achievements and added a cheat button.
This should be $5, at most.

I'd rather turn on my PS1 and TV, and play FF7 on that.

crap release i rather prefer use an ps1 emulator with maxed settings.

Regardless, I bought it to show Square that there's a demand for FF games on Steam, and hopefully they'll realise people really enjoy FF7 and make a HD remake. One can only hope, anyway.

I had the original PC port of it by Eidos...but I doubt that would be playable on Windows 7 (heck, you had to install a hotfix patch into the game to even get past the 1st Chocobo race w/o a CTD on WinXP!)
