My CPU is overclocked quite a bit and I never exceed 55*. Then again, I've got a incredible cooler and you don't.

66* is fine. But 75-ish... Nah.

77 is absolutely fine.. you see that TJmax = 100 ?? that means you can reach 100 degrees before it will throttle . especially if you're not overclocking 77 is nothing to worry about at all.

Depends on the CPU. My laptop's TJmax is over 100, but it starts to underclock at around 96-97. I dont go over 75-80 usually tho.

Laptops have different thresholds for this sort of shit tbh.

that is nothin mine went to 98 when i my freind i was playin spiral knights on ma laptop! it really depends on the season, in winter its about 40-50, summer is about 60-90+

One thing you could do is touch the keyboard when your laptop is under load, and if it's noticeably hot — it may indicate lack of a proper thermal interface between your cooling system and the CPU, so the heat gets dissipated instead of being properly channeled out of the laptop's body. If that's the case, you need to change the thermal grease. But frankly, for a laptop 77°C under load is pretty fine.

assuming maxish settings on dirt 3, not bad at all, my laptop on the other hand goes to 75 c on 640x480 super meat boy, anything more with out a fan and it will shut off from heat

Laptops are like that .. use a cooling pad for your laptop.
