Anyone remember when we barely had any fighting games on PC?

PS: I know wrestling is not regular fighting and there were old WWE games on PC.

Graphics look horrible. I used to love WWF when I was a kid ,so I'll probably pick it up when it hits a decent sale.

My point was that the image from 12 looks very similar to the images posted on Steam's page for it.

Compare the images. Not much of a difference.

No. The picture here is well taken, but watch some gameplay and compare even less important wwe superstars models to the new ones... dude, even john cena is better in this one, dolph ziggler, brock lesnar has always been easy to make even in smackdown here comes the pain for ps2

The guy on the right looks to have skin of Barbie plastic. At least the other guy is slightly less shiny and looks a bit less like a toy.

But wrestling games have always been a pretty weird niche market, like wrestling itself. Its game simulating people simulating fighting.

That's because the guy on the right is a created character and the guy on the right is a wrestler " The Undertaker ".

Ah, ok. That makes a bit more sense. They'd make sure to polish up the real characters, but created characters tend to look a bit funny as a result of the creation mechanics.

Yep,the creation feature is brand new.

Remember when THQ was going to release the Wrestlefest remake on Steam (and a bunch of other platforms)? It was probably going to be a port of the iOS version but it might have been awesome. (was the android version even released? I'm too lazy to check). Wonder if 2K will put that on Steam if this sells well? I guess it's cool all the released DLC is free since the "digital deluxe" with the season pass and game is $80 on PSN or Live. I might try the PS3 version and if I dig it I'll get it on Steam. Only WWE game I've played since N64 days is WWE All-Stars, which was fun but arcadey and 2K15 isn't arcadey. I might be more interested if they add a barbed wire match or log cabin light tubes...cough
