Are we sure that if a game doesn't win a community choice vote, that it won't be a daily deal? Seriously... Witcher 2 is a big name game, and it was a daily deal last year. I'm 90% the 2 games that lose, will be part of another day's daily deal. Devs make a SHIT LOAD of money off of this sale. Sales have shown increases of over 40x. And also, the daily deals are never dictated before hand, so they could have easily had 2 Daily Deal slots to fill, and they let the one that wins take the 8-Hour deal slot, while the others take the 2 DD slots. The whole voting this is also a way to drive more and more traffic to the site. The longer you stay, the more you will likely buy. It could also be a voting system test for the upcoming "Steam Greenlight" program.
TL;DR Don't buy The Witcher 2 from that site...

I guess you really didn't understand what he meant; witcher 2 regular price is 39,99; IF it goes on sale it won't be for less than 10 dollars (-75%). On Nuuuvem it's 20 reais i.e. 10 dollars, during all winter sale period.

Nuuvem is also on sales (technically, it's winter sales - or the academic July's vacations). It seems it will go throughout the month too.
Bioshock 2 is cheaper, ~US$6 vs US$9.99 on Steam... but it is not Steamworks.
Saints Row: The Third is roughly the same, if you consider the -75% on Steam. It is Steamworks.
The Witcher 2 is about half the price since it didn't make the flash deal. DRM free i.e. no Steamworks.
tl;dr check Nuuvem before buying specially if the game you want didn't get enough votes.
