We have the topic for game developers in general (which you should check out as well), but who do you like the most among the teams with maybe one or two developers? My favorite is Edmund MacMillen for his work with Tommy Refenes on Super Meat Boy and with Florian Himsl on The Binding of Isaac (+the Wrath of the Lamb)

I actually was able to relate to most of them, so I would choose all of them but just for the love of their games I go with Team Meat, never played FEZ tho

Yeah, I actually went and looked at the credits, and there's quite a few of you.

I LOVE POSTAL 2!!

Out of all the games I own, it has the most Replay Value.

Nothing feels better after a long day of playing Counterstrike, then whipping out the Sawed off shotty and just going POSTAL on everything!

Edmund McMillen.
Well, he does collaborate a lot with others to actually realise his ideas, but he brings forth a strong balance between good gameplay design and really messed-up imagery

The Binding of Isaac is just.. I really like it. So I'm also going to have to say Edmund McMillen. He's funny and makes fun games, what's more to love?

Also, this guy (Siegfre) seems to be pretty cool, and I am very hopeful his work turns out successful. (A Skyrim multiplayer mod? groan I know, but this guy has actually gotten better co op in Skyrim over the course of several weeks than the Skyrim Online team has in two years, so yes, there's still hope, my fellow Redguard/Khajit/Argonian/Nord/etc. friends!)

I'd like to point out Jesse Makkonen (bet you didn't know him yet) because because he delivered a strong debut game doing a full one-man show. Silence of the Sleep (the game title) is good although it has some flaws. But as viewers of Indie Game: The Movie know:

"Part of it is about not trying to be professional. A lot of people come into indie games trying to be like a big company. What those companies do is create highly polished things that serve as large of an audience as possible. The way you do that is by filing off all the bumps on something. If there's a sharp corner, you make sure it's not going to hurt anybody. If they bump into it or whatever. That creation of this hightly glossy commercial product is the opposite of making something personal.
Things that are personal have flaws. They have vulnerabilities. If you don't see a vulnerability in somebody, you're probably not relating with them on a very personal level. So it's the same with a game design. Making it was about: Let me take my deepest flaws and vulnerabilities... and put them in the game. And let's see what happens." (Jonathan Blow, Braid)

Gotta be Jeff Vogel for Spiderwebsoftware. Guy has pumped out so many rpgs that have great stories and immersion.

He's made 16 games that all have quite a bit of depth and many hours of playtime. Honestly, that is amazing.
