It's a never ending battle, as good develops ways to prevent and stop evil well, evil develops new ways to circumvent good. It is a very delicate balance that the human race has never perfected and probably never will unfortunately, but when things like this happen I think we all can agree as quick of an end as can be achieved is the best.

There's a quote about how I'm feeling and it goes like this: "I met the humans and I ended up loving the animals".
Why are there borders, religions, fanaticism, hatred, etc.? Why can't people love each other? Am I from a different planet or something? Because I can't understand why all these things keep happening.

Exactly. I don't understand how these "people" got so much hatred and started killing and going kamikaze, but I'm afraid that they think that they're doing it for the greater good. Every bad person in history justified his killings as doing something for the greater good. Let's just hope that things like these will never happen again.

French TV talks about almost 40 dead people around the 3 different attacks, ie bombing suicide near Stade de France + shooting into different restaurants and streets nearby + shooting and hostages still held in Bataclan during an Eagles Of Death Metal show. This is obviously coordinate attacks from terrorists. Some witnesses said that shooting guys were talking about Syria. As France is part of the bombing with USA and Russia versus ISIS (well, Russia isn't really bombing ISIS but that's not the topic here) it seems clearly linked to Muslim terrorism.
My country is now at emergency state. Not sure about the follow-up right now. Custioms are temporarily closed.
The climate conference planned in less than a month in Paris may even be cancelled or really shortened to its minimum.

Don't let your judgement be affected by a couple thousands of people. There are way more people doing good on a daily basis.

It is more than a couple of thousand people. Even with the good in this world it is drowned out by the never ending flood of stupidity. This will have far reaching consequences that most can't even fathom.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Of course there'll be consequences. The main of which will be the increase of hate against Islam (which increases more and more for obvious reasons). Even the rise of a new Hitler is possible, I really wish I am completely wrong and my statement will make me look completely retarded in the far future but everything is possible.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

The hate part is true. A new Hitler is always a possibility in this and many other situations. The EU might bring in laws restricting certain religious aspects (seeing as how the attacks are believed to be religiously motivated).

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

There will be far reaching consequences. France will most likely bar any refugees from entering the country and might deport a lot of the people already in the country. The rest of the EU will probably follow suit seeing as a couple already wasn't keen on taking in refugees. Add increased surveillance and security measures. It might also lead to the deployment of troops to combat ISIS. This would make Iraq and Afghanistan look like a picnic.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Haha and I bet Germany won't do any of that, but will take more and more refugees instead.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

This will most likely change Germany's view drastically. Increased security and screening of refugees. This is going to become much worse than you might think. The EU will need someone to blame and ISIS would be the chosen entity. All refugees will be seen as potential threats. I do believe there will be some form of military action on the EU's part.

Terrorism has conviction that is derived from believe. So in reality all religions and believes have the potential to create these kind of acts. It is a sad reality that what is supposed to be spiritually strengthening is the cause of this.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Terrorism is always made in the name of a so-called "God", so in fact terrorism has a religion and its religion's name is Fear. Only purpose of terrorism is to make people fear and stop living their lives normally.
Becoming afraid would mean a victory from terrorists so the only way to fight them is to keep living our lives, enjoying a good restaurant lunch or going at a rock show, like the numerous people who got killed tonight. Stay locked at home and terrorists have won, which we don't want in any way.

You could combat fire with fire, you could tell them that if they dont cooperate, a girl will kill them (as far as i know, they believe that if a girl kill them they will go to hell or something like that) i mean, everyone have a weakness, exploit it if you are trully interested in finish this nonsense

Unfortunately there'll never be an end into this nonsense. Plus you can't kill someone without a trial and there is no capital punishment in France (AFAIK), so no a girl can't kill them. The point of my comment, however, was that they are determined to do as much harm as possible without being captured. They'll do anything to not be captured alive.
