Do you know any good games based on movies?

Lego LoTR, Star Wars, and Harry Potter are based on the movies (Mace Sauron/movie audio/movie-only jokes, Indiana Jones and Star Wars being based purely on movies, HP movie rather than book scenes, etc). I've never played Lego Batman and only watched two Batman movies so I don't know.

Also LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean. Playing it in co-op with cousin, pretty fun. Lego Batman('s story) is not based on any source material afair (definitely not on movies, anyway)

My mistake I guess. I have only played Lego Batman, though from what I had seen of gameplay of the others, they seemed pretty by-the-book, but I certainly have not seen full playthroughs.

Still in some sense it seems more intuitive and perhaps correct to say they are based on books, though your argument bears a lot of weight too.

The Warriors, Scarface, Godfather (the first one), Riddick, Spiderman 2 (on consoles, pc version sucks hard). I had a lot of fun with Matrix the path of neo too.

Chronicles of Riddick, Batman (NES), Pirates of the Caribbean (the one published by Bethesda, i.e. Sea Dogs 2), plenty of Star Wars games, Alien vs Predator (1-2, not the new one!), some of the LOTR games, the Lego/"insert movie crossover here" games, Wanted: Weapons of Fate (not outstanding, but it offers some simple fun), The Sum of All Fears (PC version, not outstanding, but a decent introduction to the tactical shooter sub-genre) and I've probably missed a few.
