So, It's very common for me to get to sleep paralyses. Now when I have them, I can easily break free from the paralyses and start moving. I can fly up, break the roof, and feel the cold breeze of the wind. I still can't wake up, even if I try and I never open my eyes, because I'm scared of seeing scary imaginations, but I peek time to time. When I'm flying, I can see a large green pasture. Once in a while, I hear voices. Mostly from outside, like the tv. Sometimes from inside like "psst.. hey" (happened once) or a crying baby (also just happened once). Most of the time, I don't hear voices, but I keep my eyes close for good measures.

I just want to know about your experience. Are you having a hard time from moving?

Thats not sleep paralyses, thats lucid dreams. i guess
If you can control what you're doing in your dream it's lucid dreams for sure.

well, its kinda in between, because I start from sleep paralyses. I also can't control my lucid dreaming. If I wander off far enough, I wake up in my sleep paralyses or I go to my actual dream.

I clicked on the topic expecting a serious discussion about paralysis and then you mentioned flying up and breaking your roof and realised it must be a dream lol

I never really managed to get lucid dreams regularly. I sometimes have it but then wake up from the excitement but my dreams still feel like I'm in control since I got to know about lucid dreaming a few years back.
Sleep Paralysis on the other hand. I had it once. That was scary as fuck.

Isn't sleep paralysis when you're half awake but you can't move? Happened to me only one time - I was opening the fridge in my dream, then this disembodied face started rushing towards me. I woke up like immediately but I couldn't move for a minute or two.

Yeah, sleep paralysis is when your mind is awake but the body is not. Has happened to me twice, one time I could not move my hand and another time I could not move at all. Luckily it's not permanent :D

it's common for lucid dreams to start with sleep paralysis - you get into sleep paralysis and then paralysis ends, you think it's because you're awake, while in fact you just succumbed into lucid dream. Also learning to lucid dream include mitigating sleep paralysis yourself as one of the first steps - lying down, flat, not moving an inch in total darkness etc.

i get sleep paralyses once in a while. i agree it is scary as frick. ive had it since i was a kid.

i also have out of body experiences sometimes, which again are scary as frick... ive noticed when it happens i never look back at my bed cuz i must somehow know my body is still laying in it. so i avoid it. flicking light switches doesnt turn lights on, and the farther away you walk from your body, the more i feel like im being held down to the ground so it gets hard to walk. and you constantly feel like something is coming for you

i assume its a soul hunter that feels your soul walking around and he comes for you. personally even tho they are scary, i like to have them cuz i feel like i have powers lol even though ive never shown any signs of them, probably cuz of how scared you are when it happens

lucid dreaming is when you dream .. what you experience is called out of body experience which you achieve by trying to stand up when you are slepp-paralyzed you actually stand up but you forget your body behind

Well that usually happens when you don't rest enough, happened to me few times, the trick is to not get in panic once you know is just a imagination you will be fine after a minute or two

I've not had those experiences, however twice in my life I have woken up but been completely unable to move for a while until I focus really hard on moving one tiny part (like in Kill Bill), then I work up to my whole body.
