So I was thinking, if I get my friend to install his source games on my computer. Can I go on my profile and mount those games to use the items in Garry's Mod? I'm thinking of getting it if you can do this.

You pretty much can't... The source games are cheap-ish.

They're not that cheap. But I recommend OP gets them anyway because most, if not all source games are amazing.
