a) low entry giveaways (get SG+ add-on, it shows you your winning odds)
b) get in groups! group giveaways usually have lower entry numbers
c) participate in hidden giveaways, puzzles and other shit in the forums! best way to win!
d) profit!

Because the games are randomly awarded to one ( or occasionally more ) lucky entrant in a giveaway with thousands of entrants. It's not that you're unlucky, it's that you don't understand how probability works.

If you enter 20 giveaways with a 1/3,000 chance to win, you don't have a 1/150 chance to win, you have 20 different opportunities with a 1/3,000 ( 0.03% ) chance to win. Even if you have entered 1,000 giveaways, it's still 1,000 opportunities with a .03% chance to win, even with 1,000 opportunities, those aren't good odds.

P.S. It's not at all relational to how many games you've given away, either. Proportionally, games given and games won two are rarely even remotely close to equal.

I actually joined this site so I could give games, and maybe win a game or two here and there. I didn't join it expecting to be showered with gifts.

Some people win their first fast, some don't. Complaining about it doesn't magically help win one either.

If you really want to win a lot of gifts, see if you can join a group. Though most require you to donate something often. Also, try to aim for the giveaways with low entries, and/or multiple copies.

Look at the "Estimated Wins" on your profile. It won't actually help, but it will give you some idea of how unlucky you are.

In your case your estimated wins based on your entries to date are about 1.5; that means you're slightly unlucky, but not overwhelmingly so.

Seriously, why isn't there a wall of shame for people who creates threads asking this? It would be even greater than the "Why can't I give away Dota 2" one. :P
