Hello,
A little while back there was a story, I remember the skeleton of it and am trying to find links to articles or maybe youtubers/redditors discussing it. what I recall from it is as follows:
There's a website/group/organisation called whosgamingnow, it is owned and managed by CarlMundo. One of the things this group was known for used to be promoting indie games, they do less promotion now, but as part of promotion side of the gig they did giveaways of game keys. That part continues today. So at one point they were given a large number of keys for a game by a developer (can't recall name or game). That developer later on found his game sold on G2A en mass. So he bought keys and traced them to find that they were the ones he gave to Carl. In a fit of rage, or maybe in an attempt to fix the problem or something, he cancelled a whole lot of keys. This turned into a situation where Valve had to get involved because of customer complaints, maybe he cancelled legitimate keys as well. It got messy after that and I believe that either the game got removed or Valve's association with the developer got cut off.
Does anyone else remember this incident, does anyone have links to any discussions regarding this?
Thank you for the help
Tomato
