I was watching Ashens wallow in pube hairs review his hotel room which got me wondering if anyone else around here had any bad, frightening, or weird hotel experiences?

Don't have any to share myself, aside from the usual asshat setting off the fire alarm at 5 a.m., but you can have this....

Why is the toilet in the bathroom coin operated!!??
Front desk, there's a bad rat under my bed. ....no, I'm pretty sure I didn't request it. No, I don't want it. No, not even if it's complimentary.

Not really, but once I stayed at a shitty hotel in the when I went skiing once. The door to my family's room didn't have a functioning lock, and the entire hotel smelled like hot roaches, because I assume there were tons in the heating and air bents.
Luckily thats the worst hotel experience iv3e had. It was Pennsylvania, so it could have been worse.

The toilet in the bathroom is coin operated because the Europeans thought it was a good idea to capitalize on human bodily functions.

It didn't end up being a bad experience as nothing bad happened and the room did its job (only there to provide sleep for one night) but I stayed at a reeeeally sketchy hotel in downtown Atlanta recently because it was super cheap and 2 blocks from the place I needed to be. I figured I would just walk the two blocks and not have to drive, which would be nice. I ended up driving.

I really haven't had any weird/crazy experiences except one time I was at a hotel with my friends, we were up late, and we just heard some woman screaming in the hallway and she kept screaming for about a minute. We were too scared to go out and see what was happening (we were about 15-16 at the time) but the screaming stopped so we tried to forget about it...

As for motels I only stayed at one and it was pretty skeezy. The lock didn't work properly on the door, but the staff was incredibly nice so it kind of balanced out if only a little hah.

The Hotel California is actually slang for the California State Mental Institution... That is a place most people would NOT want to visit... unless they really wanted to get away from it 'all' in a completely different way. 'You check in; but you never can check out'

I actually lived in a hotel for a short while when I was twelve/thirteen, and I have been to many hotels in my life. Some have had weird occurrences, others not so much. But this one tops it for me.

In high school, I went with the Spanish club to an event called Globalfest each year. The trip involved us staying a different hotel each year. We would each be roomed with three other people. Thus, I would be with three other girls to share the space.

One of these times, at about 1-3 AM (can't remember the exact time, though I lean toward 2 AM), the hotel phone rang. I woke up from it, picked it up, put it to my ear for a second or so, and then slammed it back on the hook and fell asleep again. I don't remember hearing anything on the other side, though with how zoned out I was, it might have happened.

The next morning, when we all went to breakfast, a bunch of the girls from other rooms were talking about creepy hotel phone calls they received. Evidently it sounded like some kind of stalker. My three roommates were very confused, saying they never got a phone call, but I remembered hanging up the phone in the night and mentioned it. We were the only room to not have heard anything from the guy. An investigation took place after that, but our group had to leave for the event fairly early, so I never got to hear the end results of it.

TL;DR: I hung up on a stalker before he could say creepy things to my roommates and me.
