I get it all the time. Any time I get an unsolicited friend request, I check steamgifts to see if I won anything, and if I didn't I just hit the ignore button. Because 99 percent of the time, it just ends up being some idiot asking me to give them some shit for free. It's not even worth accepting the request just to see what they want any more.

People will do that, they see a giveaway and assume you have more to give/spare for (them). When I was trading I had that happen a few times; I wasn't even a high profile trader but they check your inventory and if you have a lot of stuff? Boom, beggars adding to take a chance or something. Just ignore them, or chat with them for fun then delete.

And that is one of the reasons why I stopped doing public giveaways and switched to forum, chats, and groups.
