Not a SteamGifts bug, but a problem with how Steam works. This site can do nothing to change that. If you want the game, purchasing it yourself is always an option.

Usually you have to wait 15 days and then re-sync. What is it the game? If you sync successfully you should have it still in your game library (public profile).
