I just realized I became lvl 2 and I am starting college this week so here's another giveaway. A TRAIN!!! Enjoy! Also please recommend me games I should play (even though I already have a gigantic backlog list of games I still have/want to play). OR try to leave some positive messages for other people in the thread! Thank you!

Thank you. I'm pretty nervous about starting college tbh. Also, I searched those games you suggested and they seem pretty interesting! I'm kind of interested in XCOM: Enemy Unknown, it seems to have Fallout Shelter elements. And I have Mutant Year Zero on Epic due to the promos going on so I might check it out!

There's nothing at all to be nervous about, you'll be fine. ;)

Thanks for the recommendation. I don't know if I would play it though because horror games really are not my cup of tea, I get frightened pretty easily.

Kudos on Level 2 and good luck for college.

Hmm... sometimes it's hard to think of anything positive so here's one: for every jerk making everyone miserable online, there is at least a thousand good people just living their lives. Don't let the jerks make you miserable. They don't speak for you and they don't speak for most people.

Yeah but its also kind of hard to ignore them because they're always so vocal but I'll try my best! Also I love your profile pic: the stitch, hellyboy mashup.

Yeah they're usually just very insecure people who believe that if they scream really loud, they'll feel less insignificant. It would be a shame not to disappoint them, now wouldn't it? ;)

Also I love your profile pic: the stitch, hellyboy mashup.

High five, Spidey!

Well they are both two iconic characters, I would feel dumb if I got them wrong.

Oh a lot of people didn't recognize Hellboy before the new movie and even more don't know who Stitch is. It's not a big Disney movie I guess. Too irreverent. Not a musical and all that lol

Congratulations on reaching Level 2! I also wish you good luck with college! :)

Fallout 4 is a heck of a lot of fun, but it is a huge time-sink!

Yeah, I probably won't have much time for long games but thanks for the recommendation.

If you're interested in something shorter, I had a heck of a lot of fun playing Submerged. Not the escape-room type game, but the one where you're in a boat exploring a flooded city for medical supplies that your injured brother needs. It is relaxing, and the music is very good! I have about 30+ screenshots of the game in my Steam Profile. ;)

GL with college life kid 😀 I recommend focusing more on school and physical exercise ..than computer games.
I made all the wrong turns growing up. So I'm entitled to waving-my-old-finger-of-telling-youth-what-to-do.

There is time for play. Now work! 👍

Edit: Then again... In the spirit of positivity, the first step might be to remove the fucking Nazi Swastika from your profile.

Thanks for the life advice! And someone else pointed it out, I must have completely forgot about it cause I thought I had already deleted it. I think it was a joke that person thought was funny (I'm not friends with him anymore). I am definitely NOT a Nazi supporter...sorry for the miscommunication.

Nice job on level 2. And I looked at your unplayed games and there were some there that are also in my backlog that I want to play so I won't mention them, but 2 games in your library stood out which I consider classics and I've played.

Portal 2 - It's not too long and even to this day is a game with such a powerful influence in the game industry.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent - A classic in the horror genre. I enjoyed it's puzzle focus over any combat. Good Atmosphere.

I haven't finished the first Portal game yet, and will check it out after I finish it. I don't know about Amnesia though. I'm not that into the horror game genre. I get scared pretty easily.

You should play Fallout New Vegas and the Saints Row series. They're great games, and already on your account

I've played Saints Row II and I really enjoyed it. I'll make sure to remind myself to add Fallout New Vegas to my want-to-play list.

Congrats, thanks, and I have a few recommendations:
Broken Reality - If you like bizarre colorful visuals and satire of social media, this is great; it's mostly exploration with some light platforming and puzzle solving.
Outland - It's a Platventure combined with bullet hell mechanics; you switch colors to absorb bullets at the right time. It has a great learning curve, too.
I also can't recommend the Yakuza series enough; I used to think they were Grand Theft Auto knockoffs, but they're really story-focused open-world Brawlers at heart.

I don't know if I would enjoy Broken Reality but I will definitely try to remember to check out the Yakuza series. Also did they remove Outland from Steam? Or was it never there? cause I can't seem to find it.

Looks like they removed it:

Notice: At the request of the publisher, Outland is unlisted on the Steam store and will not appear in search.

That's a shame, I'm playing it now in co-op (off an on, as co-op playing goes) and it's really good.

gratz!!!
looking at your wins here, I can suggest you some (if you haven't already played them):

  • A Story About My Uncle: first person platformer, not too long, can be a bit frustrating (especially if you aim for 100% achievements), but it's fine and quite good looking
  • Saints Row 2: not bad, I had fun with it, it's your classic open world gta-like, but a bit less 'serious'
  • Psychonauts: such a great action/adventure/platformer/etc., wonderfully weird, one of the best doublefine titles, a classic

oh, almost forgot..
good luck for college! ;)
