Hi, I'm here because I have a question.
I know that it's not possible to trade or gift a game that you won. But... it's possible make a giveaway for a game that you won few month ago? Of course it's another copy.
For example you won a game, and time after you buy a bundle that contains this game and you want to give the repeated copy.
I tried to look this on forums and Faq but I couldn't find it.
Thank you and sorry for no gift this time!

A few months is not a problem at all. But be careful if it is only a few days. Some may assume you are regifting. Happened to me. I always sit on duplicate keys for games I've won recently for at least a month. (Plus, they could also use SGTools at this point. But if only a couple of days, even I'd assume it's a regift and not waste my time with SGTools.)

Just write
"Won this game and got a key in a bundle 1 day later, so here you go."
or
"It's so good, have to give on the joy."

Then (as long as the game is on your account) there should be no Problem at all.

Wouldn't manually syncing with Steam right after you activate the copy you yourself won take care of any potential issues? As long as the system sees you've activated all of your wins, I wouldn't think it matters.

And I don't think the mods are so inept to assume someone would be regifting without checking first.

I think he's talking about people blacklisting without checking.
Mods would check for sure before suspending.

Ah, that makes much more sense now.

People blacklisting without checking might always happen ... They might blacklist you if you put something about it in the description, and they just don't believe you ... but these people will find one reason or the other anyway.

So just don't bother about them, activate your win on your account and give away any copies you get later.

Yes. As long as you have a copy on your steam account, it means you have redeemed your win, and you are gifting another copy.
(well, except if you manage to enter GAs, then have it another way and not sync, and then win it and make things look like the copy on your steam account is the won one.)

Be sure, you can. After giveaway 5 copies of same game, CV is getting lower.

Yes there is nothing wrong of doing it :)

When you activate your win to your own account and mark received then you have nothing to worry about when making a giveaway with another key of the same game.
