I'll play on a Hisense 32" LED TV at 1080p

Will I be able to run, let's say, Bioshock Infinite and Crysis 3 at stable 60fps on high/ultra?

I'd say it will dip down to probbly 48fps at least in bioshock infinite at ultra.

can't say about crysis 3

lol.
I was getting 80-90 on ultra with r9 270x and fx6300. Dont get random numbers out of nowhere without research...

yeah, maybe while looking at the floor. Maybe you should read carefully since I said that it is "at least", which means the lowest it will go

edit: and yeah, I did my own benchmark on this game @ day 1 so I don't do random numbers without "actual proof". Research means you just search google for an arbitrary post in a forum saying he got his performance on the game

32" monitor needs a beastly GPU and gtx 760 is only a mid-range gpu. IMO, you can get 50-60 fps without vsync and AA on Bioshock Infinite but for Crysis 3, I doubt it! maybe 35-40 fps.

I can have 720p on 32 inch or 4K.

The physical size wouldn't be the problem it will be the resolution, if it is 1080p whether it is 20 inch, 32 inch or 90 inch shouldn't matter the GPU is still pushing out those 2073600 pixels no matter what

You're likely to run hot with that off-brand feed and you will likely see ghosting as you play on a TV.

i always recommend maxing the GPU on the cost of CPU (within reason), you may get a bottleneck but the chances are really low if its intel i5 @ 1080p ultra FPS games.
im still using a triple core CPU and i only cry with RTS games.
look up benchmarks (1080p,high) on lower CPUs and see if they drag the FPS down to the tested GPU and pick accordingly

If you're getting/own Crysis 3, try out Post Processing, Shading, and Shadows on High and everything else Very High with SMAA. Game still look gorgeous with those settings.

get a 280x ... it's WAY faster than a 760.. My brother have a 680 (same as 770) and my 280x is faster...and also have better frametime

if want crossfire/sli ok get 750w psu... if not get a 500/550 psu it's more than enough for stronger cards ...my 280x run at 1170/1600 1.2vddc and no problem at all with cx600 =500w psu. it's a waste of money and less efficient

and well those ripjaws are pretty good..

just one more thing...I have almost the same spec.. and it's really good for gaming!
if someone say AMD is not good...think if asus , gigabyte , the whole sapphire and etc would waste their money manufacturing those expensive highend cards.

Am I the only one who find the name of that RAM to be hilariously silly?

Anyway, sorry that I can't be of more help. I've been a bit out of the entire hardware loop for a while now.

I'd personally expect the powersupply to blow if you try to pull anything more than 600 watts over it. You likely won't with the current build, but adding in more hardware you might.
The PSU is over-sold in wattage, the 750 watt only delivering a stable 585 watts.

The rest of the build though, for the original question... I'd expect it to perform over 30 FPS with crysis 3 on a mix of high/ultra. Not a steady 60, even with AA off. Dips to low 30s/high 20s, with averages probably around 45-50.

As for bioshock Infinite, I'd expect it to perform very very well. With everything on and up, besides AA, I'd expect it to be running 60+ averages with rare dips down into high 40s.

The CPU will be giving you more than enough for any upgrade you could put in it as well, not even being a bottleneck for say a 780 TI in the future.

why people like to say stuff like this when it comes to psu?
ANY 80 Plus bronze 550w would be enough for his system and even a better video card overclocked

He meant something very different... Some power supplies simply can't reach the given wattage as promised by the manufacturer / reseller.

Even then I wouldn't recommend the power supply with the low quality Fuhjyyu electrolytic capacitors.

I'm not so sure...

Those guys know thing or two about PSUs...

Also it seems like it isn't certified, they are just advertising the efficiency...

Here is a more relevant article.

Btw I know a bit or 2 about PSU's as well.

On your article they also seem to say it's overrated by 200W, which is bad...

I'm not sure which picture is accurate, but the ones in thread I linked don't look like 750W PSU should, at that point they are quite packed. Also the lack of 80+ Bronze certificate would worry me...

It's not that his build will hit the limit, it's that the power supply is falsely advertised. More of a warning that it's not what it says it is. It's chart says it outputs up to 734 watts, however the hardware in it caps at 625 watts.

As for it being 80+ Bronze, I don't see that anywhere either. It's "Green Power energy efficient" but wtf does that mean? This here is a chart, it says it's not a certified bronze line. I also find nothing about it being Bronze on any of the google image pictures of the box.

As for why I bring it up, my first build was powered by a 380 watt "550 watt" power supply. Needless to say, having a build I thought was safe pulling 415 watts blew the thing and left me without my fancy new rig for a week or so. Not the greatest first time gaming machine experience.

And you probably were lucky it didn't take anything else with it... That can happen, which is why everyone recommends to get some decent quality PSU and not skimp on it.

Same thing I tell everyone now. When I bought it, I was told it didn't really matter. If it says it pulls X watts, believe 'em! False advertising is a crime! Thankfully it didn't skimp on safety measures and didn't kill my parts.

Personally, there is a point you can skimp to. That's PROPERLY 80+ bronze certified on whatever off brand. Because that means if they are selling 550 watts, dammit, it's 550 watts. They have to run at 80%+ at full "advertised load" to pass. The actual ratings are given by "Ecos Consulting" and not the PSU maker, which makes off-branding 80+ a little bit more secure.

If possible change your power supply. It's the same build as the Kingwin Mach1 800w.

Primary caps do look to be Fuhjyyu, which are low quality!
The DC ouput quality is low aswell... The power supply has ~100mV of ripple/noise when under 80% load.

You need more professional help, this is hardly the place to ask.

check /r/buildapc

Summany of what you should do:

Get an i3 or cheaper i5, a non overclockable motherboard, cheaper 1333 MhZ CL7 ram (which perfoms better in games), add a 120 GB or 240 GB SSD to the setup, get a 600 W PSU with 80plus a rating, upgrade to a GTX 770. If you want to SLI in the future you can stick with 750 Watts.

This is ofcourse, if you want it for gaming and gaming only.

Don't expect high FPS in Crysis 3, it is almost impossible. Any other game (except for games with poor optimization) should do just fine with the 770.

I would change your brand of RAM. G. Skill is one of the "Let's take advantage of idiots by making it look cool while offering a product that is more expensive and not any better than the competition if not worse" brands. Also, while the hard drive is great for mass storage, you should probably run the OS and main programs on a SSD. Even a small SSD will work for Windows or Linux or whatever, but your performance and load times, especially with 8 GB of RAM, will suffer if you constantly have to read the drive like a ton of games do. If you use your mass storage drive as a secondary drive, the system read functions are offloaded from the traditional HDD and you get massive speed benefits.

I have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO and I love it - when the damn fan works. It is rated at 40,000 hours lifetime expectancy, which is about 3 years, and I got about 5 months out of the first one before it started making a grinding noise. I got a replacement from Cooler Master under warranty and the new one went out in the same fashion barely over 4 months later. Luckily the cooler does an awesome job on its own and I didn't burn up my CPU though it did get pretty close to max recommended temperature. An exact replacement is only $8.00 from Cooler Master so it boggles me that they would use such a cheap part for such a critical component. Expect to eventually replace your fan if you get this cooler. There are people with comments and reviews reporting the same issue all over shopping and tech sites. For the price you can't beat it though and replacing the stock fan with a $20 Noctua NF-F12 PWM still gives you an excellent cooler for under $50.

I would get a different power supply. That thing is junk. Never cut corners with a power supply. One zap and your whole system could end up like toast.

Get a GTX 770 instead. Unless you're planning on overclocking you can go with just the 4670 without the "K" and the money you save will cover the cost difference.

Bioshock Infinite should run fine but I have yet to see a system run Crysis 3 on any setting and get a constant 60 FPS. I blame the game though and not anyone's hardware.
