Well, sorry if it's in the wrong category or if there's already a thread, I didn't spot it.

But I saw an announcement in a Russian Steam group I am a part of (am not russian tho), but even in my region, and on steamdb, as far as I checked (for Crysis and Spore, in GBP, prices have risen), and in my personal case, Crysis was 9,99 euros and now it's 19,99.

So, like, wtf? Greedy much? Does anyone even care?

But this is against the steam rules afaik, you can't put steam customers in a worse position than some other customers elsewhere. Like, you have the have same/similar price in all the stores. We should report them.

Let us just bump the price a smidge since our "new outstanding" move back to steam will be watched by fresh new "money bags" . They wont notice year of release or old prices they will be fine with it.

No better way to make the suscription model look good in comparison.

why do people care if they hate EA so much? i thought no one wanted their games... 🙄🙄🙄

it's fine. if valve takes a cut of their profits, they increase base prices in return.
anyway, i don't see price differences in ROW. dead space is $20 in ea and steam. same with dead space 2, dragon age ult edition, etc.
they are cheaper on EA in my region, though.

In 1 year and some months steamdb shows me that deadspace 1 and 2 got 2 price bumps from 10 to 15 and finally 20 euro.
Dragon age from 20 to 30 euro with no delay like a well oiled machine.

Now Kingdom of Amalur price is higher than Fallout 4.

PS: And Origin retains the old price.

Perhaps they're planning 90% discount
or perhaps they saw those old games keep selling, so why not, let's milk them some more.

Huh, I don't really care. I own all of the good older EA titles on Steam already. I wonder if I will buy EA games again after they return.. at least they're not the most terrible gaming company anymore since Blizzard do their shameful thing now.
