I wouldn't say it is unheard of,but not talked about much. Kentucky Route Zero,I live in Kentucky and I've always wanted a game set here. Don't have the money for it yet though :(

firepower 2000 for snes, you didnt specify that they had to be steam games so i threw that in there, but it was the best of its genre for that console, cant count the hours i spent playing that with my brother as a kid.

Not sure what the popularity status of it is, but I am really pumped for Goodbye Deponia.

I'm a videogame historian and for quite some time I'm looking for these three games. All of them come from Czech Republic, were published around 1996, the distributors went under years ago, you can't buy them anymore nor get them on e-bay and such auction servers.

1) Alchemix - logical game for PC and Mac, published in Czech and English by BBS Interactive Multimedia. I've found one English review so there is a chance the game surfaces somewhere. I've contacted the producer, he says he has now only one unit left, still in the wrapper and he doesn't want to unwrap it. But he allowed me to pirate it, if I can find it (no kidding). Nor the programmers have a copy, real shame.

2) Unlimited Warriors - probably released only in Czech republic, for DOS - developed by Digitalica, released by Space Interactive. Mortal Kombat-style fighting game with digitalized actors, shot on real castle. Last time seen in second hand shops around 2000.

3) Leo - Zhava cisla - erotic logical game, allegedly only for the subscribers of certain erotic magazine.

It's a really really long shot, but if you know about whereabouts of any of these titles, please give me an echo.

Space Empires 4.

The Movies is one of the games that my friend and I had tons of fun playing when we were kids and I haven't seen many people talk about it. It was made by one of my favorite developers - Lionhead Studios (back when Lionhead actually made amazing games like Fable and Black & White).

Anachronox.

If you've never heard of it, it's a JRPG style game with pretty strong mechanics and really good writing. If you're wondering why you never heard of it: It was made by Ion Storm Dallas, which at the time of release was too busy imploding over Daikatana to make sure this game got the attention it deserves.

I got the original, but I'm still hoping for an updated re-release or a proper sequel. (Since it ends on a massive, premise-changing cliffhanger)
