Dunno about extensions, but you can save one click if you're using a mouse... just middle click your scroll wheel and that does the same thing as Ctrl+Click :)

ESGST extension for your web browser seems to be what most people are using. There's ALOT of options in the settings to go through but one of them puts the enter/leave giveaway button right on the main page so that would take care of the issue you are describing.
SG thread on the extension: (https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/TDyzv/extension-userscript-enhanced-steamgifts-steamtrades-esgst-v894)

As ESGST was suggested to you in at least 3 of your threads, did you try it?

To make things slightly easier, you can click the scroll wheel button on your mouse to open a link in a new tab. Then instead of trying to get the cursor exactly on the X to close that tab, you can click with the mouse wheel anywhere on the tab selection box to close the tab. You can also do the same on the back, forward, home button, or favorites/bookmarks to open them in a new tab. So if you want to open the previous page in a new tab, but also leave the current page open, you can just middle click on the back button.
Edit: I don't know how to tell if an add-on is safe, but the only one I use to help with stuff like this is called Linkclump. It just lets you right click and drag to create a box and when you release, it will open all the links you selected in new tabs. This just makes things easier if someone posts a large number of giveaway links in a thread as a list. You can highlight and open all of them or do large groups at a time if you want. Then I just use control+tab to switch through each tab while leaving my mouse over the button to enter. If there are any descriptions, you can read them as you quickly skip through each tab and enter any that you want without having to move the mouse. Then you can leave your mouse in one spot over a tab and keep middle clicking to close each one if you want to see them again as they close for some reason, or if you don't want to see them again, you can just right click the current tab and click "close all other tabs" or "close all tabs to the right".

Use your MB3 to open pages in a new tab. Just click stuff with the wheel. And raise your mouse DPI bit by bit until you can move your mouse everywhere just with finger moves.

The way I enter giveaways is usually middle mouse button to open the ones I'm interested in, then Ctrl+Tab to move to the next tab, click, Ctrl+W to close the tab. This sends you to the next tab, click, Ctrl+W, click, Ctrl+W etc...
Other useful shortcuts are Ctrl+Shift+Tab to move back a tab and Ctrl+Shift+T to reopen the last tab you shut down.

each giveaway I enter needs 4 clicks:
1+2) a Ctrl+click to open a new tab
3) click to enter
4) click to close tab
I was hoping to do single-click entries like on IndieGala but I don't know what browser or extension helps with that.
I don't want to do anything banned like AJ (there's a lot of giveaways that look boring and I don't want to enter)
but there's lots which seem cool that just take a lot of time to enter
Plus for ones I want to block from seeing (example: delisted games I already own, DLC I already own, boring trivia games) blocking them is a lot of effort too even though I know in the long run it will save time.
But how do we know an add-on won't harvest our password and steal rewards?
