"Free Weekend" and its Giveways

I know i cant enter the giveways when its the "free weekend" on steam due to steam gifts detecting the "game was allready in my account", but is there a way this can be sorted out here? Most of the giveways in that condition, the limit time of the giveway allready closes/ends before the free weekend time
