yay!!!
meh...
not potatoes animatronics = not buy

This series had so much push and drive in the beginning even if it was (as many say) Youtuber bait, but now it just feels worn out and they could've just ended it at 3, but sadly Scott decided to agree to a movie and then make this one.

Never played any of the series. I wasn't able to understand the hype around it 'cause jumpscares are pretty cheap imo and the game itself doesn't look like it's really worth it. Anyone want to convince me of the opposite?

Well, I play FNAF 1,2,3 , i really like this game because is something new,,,not very fresh but the mechanics are not the usual. But, i would not say that is the best horror game like a lot of kids rats, it's good but not at the level of, for example, amnesia or Silent Hill. The game is basic, but what i really enjoy is the story, every game it gives you little hints of the story, but also a lots of new questions, and more than you know, more disturbing it is. Sorry if my english is crap

Another excuse for a new game.
I guess the developers never heard of "DLC".

It's officially the highlander series; 1-2 good thing and the rest better off forgotten.

Haven't played any of them, and don't plan to change on this tendency :)
There's surely a target age group for that game - as long as they find the game fun, I'm okay with it, as long as people get enjoyment from it. Though when it falls short, gets boring / really repetitive (Gameplay already kind of repetitive already, but at least story) - it should stop or get go

Who is playing something like this? There is no fun intended :D
It's a typical Pewdiepie aka. millions ob subscribers game like Goat Simulator or Surgeon simulator.
Please... FNAF getting released every few months.. it's like COD..

Edit: Would play Bad Rats with more fun then this.

And I'm sure you would rather give yourself papercuts on your eyeballs and hose pepperspray up your butt.
We get it. You're on the "We're tired of FNAF" bandwagon with us. You can stop. :P

No!
Dont get my wrong but.. i would play that game for like.. an Hour max and would never touch it again... That's the only reason why it's bad!
it is a good game and some good jumpscares but nothing for a long time.

I actually liked the first one, mostly because it was self-aware and didn't take itself seriously. The screamers were low-quality and cheesy, but it worked as a timewaster / distraction kind of game. The addition of some backstory in FNAF2 was nice, but it was pretty much just more of the same. It's probably as much to do with the creator's lack of technical ability (as much as wanting to cash in on a thriving fanbase). Would love to see a more fully-fleshed game with actual development and stuff.

The entire hostile animatronics that are secretly only trying to help and are semi-aware of horrible things that have happened, etc, is a cool foundation for a survival horror. Sadly these games are just youtube fodder \:3/

I feel like he pushed this out as fast as possible because he knew after 3, it started to kinda lose some steam.

I wonder what he will do for his next game. He did say this was the last one. (Although in a year or 2 or whatever, I bet FNAF5 will happen. Honestly I thought it would end with 5)

Now if only he would have sold the rights to make a game. The idea and characters behind the three games were fine, but without real gameplay it falls flat. Hard. I'd love to see a bigger budget remake of the originals in a different form of gameplay, such as a stealth-oriented roaming survival horror (staying still too long being a bad thing).

It's a train wreck for me. Terrible, yet can't look away. I don't like horror, yet because of it's unique elements, I kind of want to like it.

Plenty of bad decisions made in those games, IMO.

I bought them on sale on Steam, but haven't played them, and wishlisted #4 today (why?!).

I have the first two from bundles, but I haven't played them yet. Haven't gotten up the nerve to, because jumpscares don't agree with me mentally (I think Yahtzee had a similar issue with the games when he reviewed the first one). I have heard the plot of the games is sort of interesting to wade through, so I might either suck it up and play through, or just hop on a wiki.
