Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition
Catherine
Mass Effect Trilogy
Catherine just deserves to be played.
The other 2 are very effective time-sinks that can last you a few months

Diablo III is already on there.
Mass Effect has the problem of me lacking DLC for the second and third games, so I won't be starting on those two any time soon. Already beaten the original.
Catherine I tried, though didn't enjoy the gameplay. Does the story pick up at least?

"Catherine I tried, though didn't enjoy the gameplay. Does the story pick up at least?"
It does actually. But if you don't like the tower-climbing puzzling then I don't think you can force yourself to keep playing for the story.

I got about 300GB to spare, so I could stick it on there anyway. Need to get something out of this topic other than games I don't own. :P

Rogue Galaxy! It was a PS2 game so I would imagine it's on PSN. It's hard to describe just how awesome this game is. Great graphics, story rich, fun gameplay, there's so much to do in this game it could keep you busy for days! Plus once you beat it... you're not even close to being done.

Fallout 3 or NV
Borderlands 1 and/or 2
Red Dead Redemption
The first two are great time sinks and you should just play RDR.

I don't own Fallout or Borderlands on PS3. I have a disc for Red Dead, but like mentioned, I only want PSN titles from my list.

SSX just because this game has a place in my heart as the ultimate boredom killer for me and some friends for many many years.
Bayonetta although something tells me you've played through it before. Twisted, funny, fast action gameplay that gets easier the more you play it. The story goes from funny to weird/odd to surprising imo on the first play through. Great game.
Oddworld: Munches Odyssey - it's Oddworld. Nothing more needs to be said.

I tried Bayonetta but didn't spend much time with it. Guess I can stick it there.

Actually, beaten them already outside of Peace Walker. :P

Sorry, not really a fan of the series like you seem to be. I find most of them drag on and get boring. GZ is saved there only by being too short to really spend much time on it. :P

I'd say Mass Effect, but since you mentioned you don't have the DLC for the 2 and 3rd games, then holding off would be best. You definitely want/need the DLC for the best story experience.
My votes are for Ni no Kuni, Lollipop Chainsaw, Tales of Graces f, or Resident Evil 6.
Ni no Kuni is super cute, and it's story can be heartbreaking at times. Really got me in the doki doki.
Lollipop Chainsaw is filled with lots of fanservice, but it's made by Suda51, so it's quirky. Game play is hack and slash so it can get very grindy and the mini-games are super irritating if you don't get them the first few tries.
Tales of Graces f is standard jrpg; but it was one of my favorite of the Tales, so I have to rec it every time I see it.
And Resident Evil 6 because I was pretty surprised by it. Like, the story is generic Resident Evil WTF-ery, but it was pretty solid. I liked the characters and I like the majority of all of the campaigns. It was very Mass Effect/generic shooter and less survival horror, but somehow that really worked for me. Lots of QTE's though.
Edit: Oh shiiii . . I just saw Dragon's Dogma on the list. Super great game. Love that game. Everyone should play that game. It's slow at first, but picks up after you pass through the canyon. Character customization out the wahoo and all sorts of good stuff. Best game. Love it. This is my no.1 vote out of all.

I'll chuck on Ni No Kuni and Dragon's Dogma then.
Lollipop Chainsaw would be nice, but disc game, and switching those from bed would be difficult. Tales of Graces f I'll skip simply because I'm going to try Symphonia and don't really need two. :P
Resident Evil 6 was purchased for co-op with a friend, since I've already beaten it on PC. Certainly a good time sink though, I had around 20 hours on PC, though a chunk of that was the black screen boot glitch.

Off topic abit., but in regards to sound, have you found a way to listen to the sound of your PS3 through headphones or earphones etc, I would love that but have no idea to go about it,
OT: Maybe play an RPG? or something of the sort? Also if you ever get the chance for purchase!, I would recommend Heavy Rain!

I haven't. My flatmate did though, he had some headset but kept it for the PS4 he now plays.

Really cant help you with that, because games I like to play from bed are not on PSN, Live nor any other distribution platform...
But will recommend to try some RPG, all depends what your girlfriend support, or in terms what her network provides XD.
P.S. You all know that there will be one of this kind, question was just how soon XD

I'll try the later two, but really only have Saints Row: The Third for family sharing, since I beaten it on PC. Got Saints Row 2 for both me (console exclusive DLCs I wanted to play, worth it for $5) and my brother who uses the other account slot, and since he loved the game, I got the third as well. IV might happen later as well.

I was terribly disappointed by IV...it just felt rushed to me, I felt that they took everything they did so well in 3 and just shat all over it...and to make it worse, I pre-ordered via eBay so I could get the uncensored version...and I STILL didn't get the damn Alien Anal Probe gun :(
Comment has been collapsed.
It was okay in my opinion, though little reason for cars and most homies.
You can use the probe with a DLC now.

I want to avoid that at all costs. I tuck in tight enough that I have to rip the bed apart to exit it. Its often not very warm when I get back in after that.
Assuming I want to leave in the first place. I'm in front of my PC right now, wearing a jacket and beanie, and sitting in a sleeping bag. My place is freezing and has no heating. :(

Resistance: Fall of Man
Resistance 2
Resistance 3
I've always wanted to play this series but I don't have a playstation myself. I've wanted it to come to PC for so long because it looks like a very interesting story. If I was to win the lotto, I would pick it up with those games and put up with having to use a controller to shoot and stuff instead of a mouse and keyboard just because I like the story.

All discs, not going to swap from bed.
As for getting them, you really should take a look at the local prices. Some shopping around would likely net you a system, controller and all three games for under $100 over in Canada. The PS3 is nearly nine years old now, it won't break the bank until you buy every other exclusive. :P

Nah. Which is unfortunate, no one wants them to shave away their warm fur. I have to sleep with a beanie. D:

I'd say go for Resident Evil. I would want to play them so I'm suggesting them!
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, maybe Code: Veronica X, not going to play the other two unless I can get a Move. Wish I still had my Wii, the light gun games were good there.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, both Chronicles games are rail shooters which offer bits you might recognise from previous games. The first mission has you going through the train of 0 for example.
Comment has been collapsed.
Okay, skip those for now and go for Veronica X if you take my suggetion. I will check your list for other games to add to my suggestions. :P

Beyond Two Souls because it's a game that has a story that can bind you to your bed for a night or two, I guess, Don't have it, never played it, but would want to.
Metal Gear Solid HD Edition because Metal Gear Solid, duh. It's a shame that the first one is missing tho.
Comment has been collapsed.
Beyond is disc.
Beaten all the Metal Gear games other than Peace Walker. I guess I'll install that again.
Comment has been collapsed.
Mh, if you played it recently (maybe in the last few years) I wouldn't play it. I always need enough time to forget most of a movie or game to play it again.
Scratch that. What about Alien: Isolation?
Comment has been collapsed.
Valkyria Chronicles is adorable and at the same time challenging and I'm currently going to play some more of it...
Comment has been collapsed.
Shame its on disc. Then again, I have it on PC anyway, with the DLCs I don't have on PS3, so I should skip it there. Which is a shame, I got it years before a PS3, just so I'd have it ready.

I recommend Ni no Kuni and Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, I think they're both awesome JRPGs.
Comment has been collapsed.
With your avatar, I would have expected VC. :D
I'll leave Victory alone, I still haven't beaten the first two, which I was able to get on Steam after waiting ages for PSN sales on more than just Victory. :P
Comment has been collapsed.
I think VC goes without saying :P joke, I somehow didn't see it on your list and it's on disc anyway and not PSN :)
yeah, then I'd beat the first two first :)
Comment has been collapsed.
I don't have those at all.
Well, I have two of them elsewhere, but not on PS3.

echochrome and Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z are good games to play in bed. As in, it makes you want to fall asleep.
3D Dot Game Heroes is pretty good. It's like The Legend of Zelda but you can make your own character and play as Carrot Top's head if you so wish to.
Comment has been collapsed.
Back to Bed. ;) In all seriousness though ...
• Mirror's Edge: It's he only game from that list I have really played.
• Catherine: I recently watched some minutes of it and it seems to be crazy but interesting.
• Tales of Symphonia: Because a friend of mine is a huge fan of it.

I have been playing it. I find it quite enjoyable, even if loading is slow.
And no (I don't own it), no (I don't own it) and no (I only have it on disc).

Don't own, wouldn't buy. No interest in pay to play.

What games should I play in bed? Three games per user, tell me why you think they will be perfect games for keeping me in bed during winter.
READ THE LIST, I don't want random suggestions for titles I don't own, or aren't even available on PSN.
Owned games
Check I own the games on PSN before recommending. The disc drive will have Destiny in there for a while.
