Not a rule or anything like that but you could feed our SG pet every once and awhile. maybe you would have a better chance, at least i hear a lot of people talking about Karma, it must be a feature

It's a random drawing. Your chance is directly related to the number of entries and nothing else. If there are 100 entries you have a 1% chance. So, entering a giveaway with 5000 entries gives you 0.02% chance. You can win every giveaway you can enter.

you just entered 1400 giveaways. i bet, most of them where public with many entries... so if you enter giveaways with probably 1000 you need to enter 1.000 giveaways to get an average of one win.
your chance depends on the number of entries. there are different ways to enter giveaways with less entries:
sometimes there are very short giveaways (just one hour timelimit). to enter them, you would need to be active to get them...
you can raise your level: there are higher level giveaways and cause less people can enter them, your chance will increase^^
be an active part of the community and try to get whitelisted: you will have access to nice giveaways
in the threads there are sometimes giveaways with less entries
you can join a group for giveaways

The chance depends on how many people enter the giveaway. If 1,000 people enter then each has a 1 in 1,000 chance.

You can potentially win every giveaway. It is just highly unlikely.

I paid the dude who said he could boost my winning chances but all the boosted was my cash and I never saw him again....

I'd say you're doing alright.

you entered 1,460 time and won 3, it's not that bad.

I won 3 times this week. And none for the previous 4 months. So random it is.

Its simple math really: number of copies / number of entries, so giveaway with 1 copy and 1000 entries have 0.001 chance to win. its 0.1% btw

btw you have one not recieved, yet winner thanked you after giveaway end. Might want to clear that one out with him.

oh and heres a bonus, mind you those entered giveaways had 138 entries on average...

To win more, either enter more giveaways or enter giveaways with fewer entrants (less competition). Getting into groups or people's whitelists would helps with the latter, but you'll need to give more to increase your chances of being added.

One alternative is solving puzzles, such as this one (shameless plug). The pics below show the status as of 3 hours ago. Good luck finding public giveaways with so few entries for such games :-)

There is no limit. You can win hundred or even thousand GAs and more (see my profile), you may win nothing for a year or you may win 40 GASs in a single second (happened to me as well ;p) - it's just pure statistics - enter more GAs and enter GAs with better chances :>
