You know where this does not apply? On youtube videos. People just flock to fake anime waifu novelty accounts and give them all the likes all the time. Don't get it, don't need to get it.

How can it make an opinion irrelevant? If Einstein posted his theories with an anime avatar it would not make them less relevant, people might be more inclined to skip the post because of some childish looking unprofessional avatar but it does not influence the content itself... I hope that the researchers have described it differently, else it's even a bigger fail then it already sounds like.

I 100% agree, I absolutely despise anime and I find it disgusting. However I have nothing against people who like it, I mean I hate football to it doesn't mean I hate the people who like it.

I get you have your opinion, but may I ask why you chose the word disgusting XD? Not all anime is porn related, and I get you may still just dislike it but do you really just go ugh and have to puke when u see a certain type of animation style

That's okay. If people want to try to invalidate my opinion simply because I tend to hide behind the face the face of a man-turned-woman from an erotic visual novel simply because it's an animu transwoman, they can content themselves with being ignorant.
It's not like they even Nep.

I don't know what's more disturbing, the fact there was this study, or the fact that there is a branch of UC Berkeley focused on social media.
