It's an OC tool that works with most cards, regardless of brands. Could see if that tool works better for you.
Guru3D are really the guys behind it, MSI just branded it and packed it with their stuff.

Except that you're having problems with it, and MSI Afterburner is on many a GPU / techy / overclock forum seen as the de facto tool for OC-ing GPUs, and reading out stats. It will most likely work, and be full-featured and useful for more than just your OC. Anyway, what card are you using?

I read the title as ASUS GPU Twerk.

Maybe delete the config file for it, forcing it to make a new one. Idk.

Hmm I heard that if your computer isn't set to high performance mode then the clocks will be uneven. That happens to CPUs but I'm not sure if it's the same for GPUs.

I used to use it but start getting similar issues when i went crossfire. After getting no result with either Sapphire TRIXX or MSI afterburner i used AMD Overdrive that comes with the drivers. Works like a charm although i can´t change voltage so the OC is limited.
