Resident Evil Revelations is Good game?

Wait for the summer sale and buy RE4 instead?

The point of review sites and gameplay videos is so that people wouldn't make threads like these every time they wanted to buy a game...

Did you like Resident evil 4-6? You'll probably like it.
Did you like Resident Evil 1-3 and not so much lasts ones? Then probably not, it's not that much of a zombie survival but a shooter.

Honestly, I haven't played any Resident Evil games, but I hope this hint will be useful:
Look up reviews, but only pay attention to the "what's good / what's bad part". If they say graphic is great, and you want great graphics, that's good. If they give only a few points for being a bad horror but good shooter - if you want shooter, go for it! If you want thrills, reconsider.
Plus, kinda my favourite: look up on steam - but ONLY the negative critics. Positive ones are full of blindsighted fanboys, you can't tell if it's really good or only they are cheering for the game. The negatives usually point out weakest points, and usually that's what matters the most, because of the bottleneck effect.

Hmm thinking of purchasing this too... What about the DLCs? Is it worth buying it as well?

Ofcorse,is a great game.
It is a Resident Evil as it should be.

The only good modern RE's are 4 and Revelations, so imo you should buy it.

Aspects to retain: If you like more action less ''spoooooky'' buy 5 or 6, If you like more ''spoooooky'' with a bit of action buy 4 or Revelations. That's it.

You should play the demo. I had only played a few minutes of it myself, and was frightened at what awaited around every corner.

A while back I read a review that praised this game as the 3rd best game in the series -- after RE4(2nd) & RE2 (1st)
A must-try for any RE fan.
