So "Clan" Advice

Alright well being a gamer i play lots of games, PC and Xbox, now the problem i often run into is not having enough people to play with/invite to games. Getting tired of playing with random people most of who have no idea what game they are playing. So i was thinking about starting a clan. Mainly for games like DOTA2 and Call of Duty (assuming Ghosts isnt shit). I have a bunch of friends interested but honestly have no idea how to start. I dont want to be like just change your tag and your in the clan of 3 people including me. I wanna start it right, get an emblem, a clan name, website, and have a good sized clan size. If anyone wouldn't mind giving out some tips on what you would do/have done/seen done, i would greatly appreciate it.
