I have a OnePlus 7T and for the most part I love it. Great battery life, insanely fast charging and I love their software. It's close to stock Android, with all the things they've changed all actually being for the better.
My only complaint with it is that the screen, although fantastic looking in most use cases, has a slight issue. There's a bit of a green brighter tint at the top of the screen when looking at it in dark environment. There's a ton of reports from people on their boards about this issue and the severity varies from phone to phone. According to OnePlus, this is just how some of them are and they don't consider it a fault ... which rubs me a the wrong way. A product should be the same for everyone in my opinion, not a lottery if you get a bad one or not.
Overall though, it's still a great phone. I'd recommend it despite the one issue.

7t features a OLED display too.
How old is your phone now and do you encounter any "burn in" effects/issues similar to old ctv?

Let me think about it...................
Never 😂
I remember those days at college, when everybody thought an iPhone would change you to a cool 😎 person.

You could get a Linux phone. A Pinephone is $150. It's completely unlocked, you can do whatever you want with it, and it wont send all your data to Google. You could have a completely unique phone that none of your friends have. From what I've read it might be possible to connect a monitor to it, a mouse and keyboard, and use it as a desktop. So you could download the linux desktop version of steam along with Proton and basically be able to play your steam PC library, depending on how demanding the games are. You'd give up some things like the Google apps but for me the positives are worth considering, depending on how nerdy you are or how much you care about security

I got Xiaomi Redmi Mi 9T Pro (known as Redmi K20 Pro in China and India) and I could not be happier.
I paid 305€ for it although the price will probably be different for you.
P.S. It's called "Flagship killer" and for a good reason. Was also voted a phone of the year for 2019 and an absolute value champion

As the title says, I need an advice...
My smartphone had an unwanted swimming lesson for a few seconds in my bathtuband I fear it will never be as before... 😅
Sure.. I put it in some rice, but in the end, I'll need a new smartphone anyway.
Actually I own a Huawei p10 and I was happy with it, before the accident.
Can you advise me an Android Smartphone?
I've seen the oneplus 7 pro so far and I'm kind of impressed, but I'm open for alternatives.
My next smartphone should feature:
good battery, which should bring me through the day
Android 10 (stock or update availability)
fingerprint sensor would be nice
big internal storage or as alternative a SD slot.
About 300-800€/$
Edit: While it's true that the oneplus doesn't have a SD slot, the internal memory is at least big enough to avoid capacity problems.
I don't play any games or so. I'm just "surfing" online, watching Netflix/listening music via my Bluetooth headset and write some SMS or call someone. All I expect is an user friendly, non laggy phone, which lasts at least a day. Privacy is somewhat important, but you pay with your privacy no matter which brand you choose.
About root... I'm willing to unlock the bootloader, after my warranty has gone 😇
