It's also one of these games where buying on itch makes no sense, because they add VAT on checkout.
Another antic: the price is theoretically 99c, but "Due to processing fees the minimum amount is 100 cents.".
So effectively the price for me is $1.23, not $0.99. Which also makes it illegal in the EU (to display a false price to the consumer).
Nice going, itch!
The only redeeming factor is that they forgot to bump the price on itch after they changed it from 9.99 to 12.99 on steam, so I guess for some countries/currencies it's a good deal. Regretfully I must pass because of principles.

It's one of those games where buying on Itch will also give access to a Steam key. On top of that, with this game it's not merely having a drm-free copy on top of the Steam one but also a perk (a dragon not featured in the Steam version).
There's also a DLC, Demonic Menace, whose Itch version functions as a standalone expansion ( the Steam version requires the base game instead).
