dungeon defenders on steam failed to connect to trendynet please help me

My brother cant play online this is only happening on his computer because we used his account on my pc and it worked but cant get it to work on his pc so we cant play together no steam account with the game will connect to trendy net in dungeon defenders on his pc. We have searched the net and did a bunch of things but nothing has worked. Can you suggest what might help please.
