About the game:
Chains of Fury is a Metroidvania Boomer Shooter inspired by Hellboy & Lobo comics and XIII, Void Bastards games.
Our game is heavily influenced by many retro FPS games but the main inspiration for our mercenary remains Duke Nukem 3D from 1996. At those times it was a mind-blowing experience. Years later it still is. Now 25 years after aliens made a terrible mistake of shooting down Duke's ride but his heritage is still alive now.
If you’re looking for another “save the world, become a hero” copy-paste story, move along as there’s nothing to see for you here. Because here you’ll get the chance to become the meanest bastard this earth has ever carried, whose testosterone can only be measured in the amounts of bullets you share with those standing in your way. You are a hired gun. Your former clients put you in prison instead of paying you. That was their last mistake. You will find them and you will get your money back. No world-saving, no zero to hero bullshit, no mercy. It’s nothing personal - it’s just business.
